  1. Create A filter for subscription/order notes

Create A filter for subscription/order notes or a setting that sorts the system vs the admin's notes

  2. When subscriptions renew, update shipping costs

Currently when subscriptions renew there is no new calculation of the shipping cost. Even if current shipping rates are higher. The old shipping cost saved with the parent order continues to be used. For example, subscribers from 2 years ago that pay $4.20 postage keep paying that even though the current USPS rate is $4.75. So we are losing money on the postage for each such renewal _;(

  3. Allow charging customers at sign-up instead of first renewal for synchronized subscriptions

Currently, stores can set it so that customers pay when they first sign up, in addition to paying at the first renewal. There is also a grace period so that they won't pay when they sign up if it's a certain number of days before the first renewal.

However, we've been getting a lot of requests to allow customers to pay only at sign-up and NOT at the first renewal if the sign-up is close to the first renewal.

This would mean that, for example, if a synchronized subscription renewed on the 15th of the month and someone signed up…

  4. Don't create an order for grace period

When a customer signs up for a subscription within the grace period, it generates an order (for $0.00) and then generates a whole new order when the customer pays.

It would be helpful if the first order wasn't processed. It gets sent to ShipStation and screws up the tally for my records. Any customer who signs up during that period shows one more month of subscriptions than they actually received which makes my record keeping difficult.

  5. I'd love to "see" what the future payments will look like when I apply a coupon.

I'd love to "see" what the future payments will look like when I apply a coupon.
When I apply a recurring x1 coupon, I'd love to see a progression of what would be the next 5 renewals or so. At the moment I can see only a general renewal total price, it's unclear visually if the coupon will give a discount only for the next renewal or for eternity.

  6. Automatic creation of 0$ orders during the trial period

The idea is to be able to manage deliveries during the trial period. Because today there is a command generated during the registration but no command to generate during the trial period according to the recurrence of the subscription.
We sell products in subscribe with the choice per week or every 15 days with a trial period of 4 or 8 weeks.
But for trial customers we do not know who we need to deliver.
It would require the generation of orders according to the subscription period even during the trial period but in the amount of $ 0.

  7. Allow Businesses to easily gift multiple subscriptions to staff even if 'sold individually' is set

We currently sell subscriptions on Woocommerce. I have just purchase Gifting for WooCommerce Subscriptions to enable customers to buy subscriptions for others. This may be someone gifting to their own customer or a corporate buying a subscription for an individual.
Our subscription products are marked as sold individually and also only one subscription can be active at a time for an individual. This is because a single individual would have no use for more than one subscription and so we wish to stop them accidentally buying two.
With gifting for WooCommerce Subscriptions however we would like to give the opportunity…

  8. Change Subscription - Minimum Prorated Fee Amount

It would be nice to have a field where can set a minimum prorated fee amount. For example, the pro-rated fee needs to be a minimum of $5 dollars. Anything below the $5.00 will be free of charge to switch your subscription.

We have experienced an issue with a customer trying to process a prorated fee of $0.35, but the credit card company declined as it was an extremely low amount. The order had failed and he couldn't switch his subscription before the next renewal date.

  9. Set a date for gift subscription

You should be able to select a date for the gift to go out on gift subscriptions. This probably needs to be linked up with the adding pre-purchase to subscriptions. So basically someone goes in, buys this 1 year of subscription for their friend... and then the system waits till that day, sends out an email for them to claim their account and that THAT creates a new order that starts the subscription process.

Most people dont want to gift a never ending subscription... They want to buy them x amount of time and send it to them on their…

  10. Sync with immediate payment

It would be great if sync payments could be enabled but a payment was taken immediately. As it is, if sync is set for the 1st and a customer purchases on the 2nd, it's a whole month before there is a charge. A lot can happen in that month!

Ideally, the first payment should come out immediately, and the sync should take effect for the second month. So, if I have sync set for the 1st of january, a customer who subscribes on the 2nd will pay on that day and their second payment will be March 1.

  11. Add the ability to choose a recurring weekday each month

Add the ability to choose a recurring weekday each month within the Subscription extension (e.g., "First Tuesday of the month") instead of only a specific date (e.g., every 10th day of the month)

  12. Free Trial Reporting

Currently, there's no way to get a report of how many free trials are active for subscriptions. It would be tremendously helpful to either have a free trials tab to see a count and all free trials or a section in the reporting for Woocommerce for this.

  13. Set future start date for subscriptions

I don't know how many businesses could benefit from being able to delay the start date for subscriptions. The model is especially valuable to private education institutes that want to allow early registration for classes that start at a later day.

PLEASE make this a thing. Please.

  14. Compatibility Subscriptions with Bulk Variation Forms

The plugin Bulk Variation Forms is not compatible with your plugin WooCommerce Subscriptions.

    https://woocommerce.com/products/bulk-variation-forms/
    https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-subscriptions/

It's a must have because the chances are unlimited!

  15. As an admin allow some options so that after users cancel subscription the subscription does not end on that day. Maybe cancel after 1 month

As an admin allow some options so that after users cancel subscription the subscription does not end on that day. But would end on a later date as selected by the admin. Maybe cancel after 1 month, 2 weeks, 30 days or whatever. Allow the admin to select their own option.

  16. Subscription Holiday Mode

I manage the website for a company that provides subscriptions for physical products (delivered on a weekly or fortnightly basis) and it would be good to have the ability to set a holiday period, where the subscriptions wouldn't renew (as they're not delivering) and new customers could sign up but their subscriptions would start after the holiday period ends.

  17. Allow subscriber to toggle their subscription's auto renewal from their the dashboard.

The subscriber can have the option to turn on or off their Auto Renewal from their own dashboard.

A simple on/off Auto-Renewal would be fine. Some customers do not want to do an auto-renewal and want to be in control of their own auto-renewals.

  18. Prepaid gift subscriptions should not be considered a 'recurring payment' subscription when considering payment method

A few payment methods that I really want to offer, don't work well with subscriptions (bitcoin for example). When the customer pays for the subscription up front (like a pre-paid subscription), he should be able to use a payment option that is otherwise not available to subscriptions. Because pre-paid subscriptions are considered subscriptions however, Bitcoin is not shown as a valid payment method.

  19. Bulk Update Subscription Price when Subscription Product Price Changes

Right now, on a Subscription product when you update the price, all the Subscriptions that were created with that product do NOT update/change.

If you update a Subscription product price from $100 to $120, all those Subscriptions created at $100 are not updated to $120. You have to manually go to EACH subscription and update the price which is very time consuming when you have hundreds or thousands of subscriptions. There should be a bulk way to update all subscriptions pricing without having to go one-by-one through each active subscription.

  20. Subscriptions to renew on set dates

We want to set specific dates for subscriptions to renew. For example, if a customer purchases the product on February 15, the next available payment date is 1 April. The subscription would then renew on the 1 Apr, 1 Jul, 1 Oct, 1 Jan (every 3 months).

At the moment, if a customer purchases a subscription on Feb 15, the subscription starts on 1 March (with renewal every 3 months). We want to set standard renewal dates for all subscribers.
