Subscriptions: Allow manual subscriptions to switch to another payment method
If you create a new subscription manually, your customer can't switch payment methods on the account page, even though they meet all the criteria for "Payment switching" as set out in section 5.2 linked below.
The docs should be updated to say "Except if your subscription was setup manually" in the near term.
It actually confused a Ninja who initially thought it should just work in our ticket 302729.
Should be pretty easy to implement given the functionality exists in v1.4 and all the customer info required is available. Probably just a matter of tweaking the gateway that is set for manual subscriptions.
