  1. Add {payment_url} variable

Please add the 'Customer payment page' (aka '{payment_url}) to your variables to customers can pay for a pending order. This is very helpful in a payment reminder follow-up email to recover an order after payment failed.

    Backend location: https://www.screencast.com/t/v50hYAHA

Code snippet taken fromthe customer-invoice.php template:

    esc_url( $order->get_checkout_payment_url() ) . '">' . __( 'pay', 'woocommerce' )

  2. Follow-up Emails - Reminder for Courses & Appointments

It would be very helpful for Follow-up Emails plug-in to have a Reminder for people who sell Courses & Appointments. Ideally the reminder can be linked with the product date/course date and a reminder email could go out a few days before the course or specified time.

  3. Make "Manual Emails" just as powerful as the other followup emails.

"Manual emails" don't have the ability to "Import Existing Orders", as the other email methods do.

"Manual emails" don't have the ability to "Send to People with Payments Pending", as the other email methods do.

"Manual emails" don't have access to tall the "merge tags", as the other email methods do. These: {order_date}, etc.

I purchases "Follow-up Emails" not knowing that "Manual Emails" was the "******* child" of the entire plugin.

Please continue to add all the functionality that you so gloriously advertised for the other follow-ups into the MANUAL emails as well.

In the meantime, it would be honorable…

  5. subscriptions follow up emails

Add a trigger for Subscription Switching (Upgrading/Downgrading).

You have triggers for a lot of other subscription hooks, but not when the user upgrades, downgrades, or switching their subscription, ie the woocommerce_subscriptions_switch_completed hook.

  6. Add variable for {item_review} for products not reviewed yet

The current variable {item_names} for item reviews is rather crude to convince customers to leave a review.
It just output links to the product page (not the review section), shows no product image and -most importantly- has no checks if the item has been reviewed already by the client.
Why? I always have to remind my clients a 2nd time to leave a product review! And I don't like to annoy them with review requests emails of products they already reviewed.

    1. Add a variable for {item_review} to show purchased products with image and URL to #tab-reviews. E.g. like: https://www.screencast.com/t/n5VUE341fWtk

  7. Have an option to follow up unopened emails

There's no way to easily send a follow up email to all unopened emails. I see the number of opened emails but for unopened ones I have to go through the whole report. It would be nice to have a way to send a follow up email to those who have not yet opened their emails.

  9. Option to immediately send scheduled pre-event emails

When using Follow-Up Emails for sending pre-event reminders, it would be useful to have a setting that would force a pre-event reminder to be sent when an event ticket was purchased closer to the event date than the setting for the pre-event reminder.

For example, a pre-event reminder is set for 10 days prior to an event. A customer buys a ticket 7 days prior to the event. Currently, the reminder set to go out 10 days prior to the event will NOT be sent. In some cases this is desirable but in others it is not.

    Being able to…

  10. Add a new trigger to remind the user after not have logged in after a specific period of time

Use case: A user logs into the website. After a specific period of time of have not been logged in onto the website, a follow-up email is sent.

Basically this is a new trigger based on days spent without having logged onto the website :-)

  11. Fix "Follow Ups" so it correctly fires when memberships are assigned manually

When assigning a membership manually, a configured Follow Up apparently will not trigger on the status of the initial membership status. One needs to assign a "pending" status first and then the status for the configured Follow Up email.

For reference, see this support thread: https://woocommerce.com/my-account/tickets/?id=926798

  12. Enable {customer_first_name} in Follow-up emails to Newsletter subscribers

Currently, Woo does not create a "user" when people sign up for a newsletter. Hence, the variable {customer_first_name} will not work in Follow-up emails to new subscribers. Yet, people do indeed sign up with a first and last name and an email address, so there should be a way to enable this. After all - personal emails with a greeting will may eventually turn the follower into a paying customers!

  13. Add variable to include renewal link in Followup Emails

We have WooCommerce Subscriptions and integrated with Followup Emails Extension (purchased products).

We want to send reminder email to customers to renew the subscription before their expiry date. That mail should contain the link clicking on which, user should be able to renew their subscription

Scenario : User subscribes for a monthly subscription of 1st May 2018 which is valid till 1st June 2018. I want to send a mailer 7 days before expiry (say on 25th May 2018) which will contain his existing subscription details with a payment link. Clicking on it should take him to our website and…

  14. Add the ability to notify subscibers of new blog posts

Add a function to notify subscibers of new blog posts therefore avoiding the need to have a Mailchimp or specialist plugin to carry out this task.

  15. Trigger email on amount of times a product is purchased

It would be incredibly useful if it were possible to trigger the delivery of a follow-up email if a customer had ordered a certain product a set number of times.

One of our clients has a use case where they'd like to send a coupon to allow a free product if another had been previously ordered 3 times - the good news is that "Follow-up Emails" currently can issue coupon codes out of the proverbial box (great!), and can send these out if a product has been purchased more than one time, but there's no facility for further modifying the…

  16. Sending a future scheduled manual email is confusing

The "Send Email Now" button for future emails is actually a schedule feature - it's confusing.

  17. Get rid of 'Choose a Variable' in FUE coupons

It doesn't make sense to have a dropdown field which sets the value of the text field, since now the text field supports multiple replacements.

We should get rid of the dropdown `Choose a Variable`, and put an indicator that some variables can be used here for the coupon prefix.

We need to be careful to not break the flow of existing customers.

  19. Email preview using generic data is not readily apparent

Its not obvious that the data being used when previewing emails from the admin is just a bunch of hardcoded generic data. Should add a notice at the top of the preview email indicating that this is just dummy data being used to show what the email will look like.

  20. Ability to edit Scheduled Emails - Bookings specific or general

A booking was created and a email was queued as expected. The booking was then edited but there was not a way to change the queued email to reflect the new booking date. It was also expected that **Settings > Tools > Rescan Customer Orders** would also update data either.
