  1. Make it easy to test e-mails

Currently it takes a large amount of effort to test any changes done to e-mail templates. Making it easier to test the different e-mail situations with dummydata (just a button in the e-mail settings page), would make it a lot easier to handle all the digging in html & php.

It would make it a quick way to help developers without you having to make a full blown WYSIWYG editor for e-mails and e-mail designs. (not that that wouldn't be nice also :)

  2. Company ID / VAT ID to be stored in customer account

Currently Woocommerce does not store store company ID or EU VAT ID in customer user account. ID is stored only in individual order in custom fields.

The problem arises when creating new order for customer through the admin site: ID must be searched from old orders and filled manually and then calculate also VAT tax manually as automatic "Calculate taxes" button will give invalid result regardless of VAT ID copied to custom fields.

This is a must-have primitive feature in e-commerce platform.

  3. Login as Customer

It would be very helpful if admins / shop managers had the ability to log into a customers my-account page.

We have a lot of failed renewal orders and customers always call us to give us the updated credit card info. They never log into their account and do it themselves.

Would be handy if there was a button next to each parent subscription account that would allow us to into the customers my-account page and updates / make any edits or changes.

    What do you think?

  4. Allow the customer to skip next delivery while keeping the subscription active

Sometimes customers want to skip a monthly delivery for various reasons. Fx. they can't afford it next month, or they haven't run out of the products subscribed for yet.

Right now customers have to suspend the subscription and remember to reactivate it, but with a simple button "skip next delivery", they won't have to manually log in and reactivate it after suspension. Some customers might forget to do that which is missed business opportunity for the store owner and disappoint for the user.

  5. Quick postcode collection - Popup collect postcode on add to cart for tax/shipping calc

The idea is that when a customer adds the first product to their cart they are prompted via a pop-over window to select country/ enter their post code (zipcode) without entering their full address. This allows their cart to display accurate tax / shipping estimates etc

Ensure there is a 'no thanks' button for customers not wanting to do so.

Have the ability to change the text of the pop-over window and the capacity to add HTML etc so you can suggest existing users login etc with appropriate links

  6. Add PDF download for physical products (for samples, detail sheets, etc.)

It'd be great to have the option to upload a pdf to the physical products. This pdf could be a sample, a more detailed brochure, a detail sheet, etc.

This could be a field at the backend and a nice button at the frontend.

In our case, for example, we sell books and giving free samples or chapters we can increase our sales.

Of course, we can now upload a sample through the media uploader and place a link into the description of the product. But that's not as clean.

  7. Points and Rewards for Failed Orders

When a customer receives an error message about an invalid zip code or credit card details, their points events log shows "Loyalty Points earned for purchase" and "Loyalty Points adjusted for cancelled order" for every time they receive an error message.

Usually customers press the Process Order button multiple times before realizing there is an error, which fills the points events log.

I don't think the log item is useful to the end user. Receiving an error message about an invalid zipcode is not the same a cancelling an order.

  8. checkout but not selling (yet)

woocommerce is a great addon for several wordpress sites.

Is there a possibility that clients can select multiple products/services, put them in a 'cart' and goto checkout but..

The client doesn't have to pay yet as the checkout button will send me the client's wishlist by email (read ask quote) so i can optimise/plan it taking into account his needs and whishes.

Meaning no payment processor is needed but the client should be able to shop like anyone else, the checkout is just sending me an email.

  9. Support pre-ordering simple/variable subscriptions

This would be a big upgrade and require lots and lots of testing.
    - Save pre-order options for the subscription product type
    - Test interaction between subscription changing add to cart button text and pre-orders changing it -- probably want to let pre-orders override them, so this would mean hooking into the filters at a later priority
    - Testing with free trials & sign up fees
    - Gateway support - this is the largest item and biggest unknown. It's likely that Subscriptions would need to adjust it's gateway handling code to support pre-orders in some way.

  10. WooCommerce Extension: Customize Emails

It's currently WAY too difficult to customize WooCommerce system emails. You should produce an extension that allows people more design flexibility and to customize the text easily. This is more than just a convenience- it's a branding and customer relations necessity.

I used a plugin called WP eStore before WooCommerce and they made it very easy to customize the various email text, complete with shortcodes you could use for order specific information (http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-shortcodes-and-functions-reference-460). Something like this would be very popular and make life a lot easier for people who need that kind of control.

  11. Product variations on category/product list page with add-to-cart

    Hello,
I have setup a restaurant menu (online food ordering) site on with wordpress+woocommerce+grid/list plugin. This is a restaurant site for many food items with half and full plate with different price. I have created product variations in admin half/full for such food items with their prices respectively. But these products are showing 'select options' button on category pages which take it to product detail page. I want to display product variation dropdown on category/product-list page itself so that customer can select and add the food half/full plate to cart without going to product detail page. The selected variation can…

  13. Product add-ons extension feature request - update price on product page

Some of my product add-ons have a price associated with them. After clicking add-ons and viewing cart, the total of item plus add-ons is correct, however, the price on the product page doesn't change when an add-on adding a price is clicked. It changes for the different variations, so you can see how much the item is you are adding to the cart. I think it should also update the price including the add-ons, so when you press the add to cart button, the price you see there is the same price you see in the cart.

  14. WooCommerce Subscriptions to work with Gravity Forms Add-ons

Would like for WooCommerce Subscriptions work seamlessly with Gravity Forms Add-ons. For example, a buyer fills out a multi page registration/order form created with Gravity Forms Add-ons. At the end of the form on the second page of the form, there is a Buy Now button. After clicking Buy Now, the PayPal Subscription takes over. Want the fields from the Gravity Forms to be mapped onto the Subscription form for PayPal so buyers do not have to re-enter their information.

Gravity Forms has a way to create feeds and map fields to PayPal in the setup process.

  15. Updating Compare Products Pro to include a share option such as email

Love the fact that shoppers can compare our products and have an easy call to action button right there to entice them make their decision.

There are quite a few occasions where the buyer may wish to share their comparisons with friends, family, professionals to get their opinion or simple just 'be informed' when making a decision.

Apart from printing off their comparisons, emailing adds another dimension to the share options especially when it comes to those who are not so tech savvy such as the older generation who could save the print option as a PDF and email it…

  16. WC Subscriptions - Stripe Invoices

    Hello,

We use Stripe to send a lot of Invoices. Unfortunately if you create an Invoice, it will add it to be billed later. The problem with this is with WC Subscription and Stripe, the open invoices never get charged out. The only way to do this is to hit the Invoice Now button.

Is it possible to make the Stripe Plugin charge any outstanding invoices on the customers account when the monthly fee goes through? This is how it works if you use the Stripe interface itself but not when using WC Subscriptions with Stripe.

  17. Create a Way to Export the E-mail Addresses of Active Subscription Subscribers

I need to be able to contact my list of active subscribers. I would love for there to be a button where I could just click "export e-mail list" for active subscribers so I could contact them. This would also be helpful for pending and canceled. Here is a real time example of why we need this .... the Target breach caused banks to issue new cards. People forget to update their subscription payment methods and I lose business. I want to be able to e-mail my active subscribers and say, "hey.. don't forget to update your card."

  18. Add-on image download from the Order Options page

I use Add-ons but it is kind of lacking that when my clients upload image/media files (I have expanded it to include .zip and other extensions) that I or a CSR (who does not have FTP access) can not just click on the link string and download the file.

In inspecting the code it is just <p>....</p> and it would be nice if it could be at least a hyperlink or "download file" button. Right now the only way I know is via FTP treasure hunt for files in the plugin folder, seems extremely unrefined to say the least.

  19. Buy products directly with points instead of a discount - Points & Rewards

What would be an great improvement to the Points & Rewards extension, is when the customer could buy products directly on the product page with their points. So there would be two buttons; 'Add to cart' and / or 'Buy with points'. When the customer clicks on 'Buy with points', the points are automatically subtracted from their account (ofcourse with a ‘are you sure?’ message). Per product the administrator should choose if that product can be bought with money, points or both.

I think it would make your extension even greater, because then you have built a complete 'Points…

  20. Ability to pass product add-on values through the URL (similar to qty)

The ability to pass a value for a product add-on through the URL as you can for ProductID and QTY. Simply reference the name of the add-on and the value for it. When the product page opens, the value is prefilled in the add-on. This is very useful for sending custom emails to customers with custom add-on values like engravings text or other product options custom for that customer and letting them click the URL in the email and open the product customized for them. All they have to do is click the add to cart button to purchase ;…
