Right now all lessons are available or a linear path can be structured. Difficult to branch lesson path other than with prereq.
How about lesson path dependent on pre test results, or student interest, or based on lesson interaction (story based lesson with branching paths depending on response to situation), or the basic loop to lesson with quiz answers worked out if not done correctly.
This would add a level of interactivity and the course would appear to change to meet the student's needs, rather than a linear presentation of material and practice questions.14 votes
I have tons of courses, lessons and quizzes I want to add and the wordpress dashboard is not very friendly to inputting large amounts of data at once because of its segmented back end. This would really help user workflow and setup for a website looking to migrate to your system.44 votes
Upon launch, the user will be notified that they have a certain time-frame to complete the course. They can close the course and come back to it, but access to it will expire within that certain time (a few days or weeks).146 votes
We’re planning to build this into the next version of our new Content Drip extension – http://www.woothemes.com/products/sensei-content-drip/
One alternative way to do this would be using Groups as described in this post – http://www.woothemes.com/2014/02/creating-a-tiered-membership-site-with-sensei-and-groups/
When you create a product that grants access to a Group, it allows you to set a duration, after which the user will be removed from that group.
Users should be able to purchase individual lessons within courses in addition to the entire course.

For this kind of functionality, it’s easiest to set up a “free” course with a lesson or two, and to then set up a course that is paid, should the customer want to learn more. http://codeschool.com/ is a great reference for this.
We’ll look further into this.
Considering Classroom Educators: Allow teacher to set a date on which the test/quiz will be available and a deadline to complete the test. Also, allow teacher to set a length of time to complete. This would be more suited for educators who meet up with their students so their lessons are live. Having the testing and scoring completed online would be terrific.4 votes
- Trainees can be assigned to one or more Groups,
- Courses can be assigned to one or more Groups (auto-enrollment)
- Analysis shows colective results groups (grades, etc)70 votes
Hi, my first course in Sensei got 54 lessons, and to go individually setting the quiz percentage is almost maddening.
Please make settings for mass edit:
- Quiz percentage global site or course
- Mass create lessons (excel table import or something)
- Mass create quizzes (excel table import or something)
- Any other mass operations25 votes
Make it possible for users not only to buy seperate courses, but also give the opportunaty to buy unlimited access (for a specified amount of time).22 votes
We have published a blog post which demonstrated how you can achieve this using the Groups plugin – http://www.woothemes.com/2014/02/creating-a-tiered-membership-site-with-sensei-and-groups
It would be nice if I could take a course and add it to multiple products in WooCommerce. Currently I would like to offer a course as part of a subscription and as a standalone product.
Please makes this possible!235 votes
See this blog post for the options being considered – https://senseilms.com/2019/06/07/prototypes-for-adding-a-course-to-multiple-products/
Having a more friendly URL (SEO)!
For example, instead of "/lesson/lesson-one /" be "/name-course/lesson-one/".
Once the test is taken it's nice to see the percent correct, but there's no feedback for which questions are wrong. Unless, I'm not seeing this in the examples, it would be very frustrating if a 100% is required to pass (i.e. a homework assignment).244 votes
The Sensei team has been discussing how we can improve the quiz experience for students. We’ve come up with a first draft that enables showing the correct answers, as well as providing feedback for both correct and incorrect answers.
It’s important to note that this is very rough and is not representative of what the final solution will look like. This is just a starting point to get the discussion going and begin to co-create a solution with everyone who has an interest in this functionality.
To that end, here’s a link to the mock-up. You can leave feedback by clicking the “Leave Feedback” button – https://app.evrybo.com/share/project/12489/135181/oRxY05LKo1HAqAiKG1HT
I have a moodle site to move over. would liike to not retype every question in the quiz - 750 questions.18 votes
To be able to use Sensei at our school students need to be able to register on courses with a course key given by their teacher.24 votes
Adding video is great, I'd like to be able to add a 'SCORM-compliant' (actually TINCAN would be better) module to a page that would allow you to run complex HTML-based or Flash-based learning scenarios from Wordpress rather than a CMS such as Moodle.
Other options would be a mp3 audio file (may be possible now, haven't tried yet).
Allow the upload of a PDF, with a nice 'flipbook' viewer and scroll-viewer option15 votes
We are looking for more information about the specific requirements of Sensei users when it comes to Tin Can and SCORM.
If you could complete the following short survey, that would be a big help, thanks!
