I would like to have an option for students to take notes while they watch the lesson video. They would then be able to submit those notes as part of their coursework. Since I do regular notebook checks anyway I think this could streamline things some. Ideally, these notes would auto-backup to the database so they'd be restored if a user's browser crashed and they needed to return to the lesson. I've seen these note-taking features before on other websites, but I'm not sure how to add them to my site. You can print, email, or save the notes to your computer.
It would be great that with Sensei a student could take notes while in the lesson. It could be similar to the Quiz setup. There would be a paragraph of text and below that a multiple line text box (same as quiz box) and Admin can decide if there needs to be a text box after each paragraph and so on. The student would be able to save their place, just like the quiz, and come back and edit/add to it, just like the quiz. Obviously the notes would be user specific. This would be a huge feature for us, without it the plugin isn't usable for our needs.

Hello, maybe this is an already existing feature (i cant seem to find it) but I think it would be a cool feature if the end user was able to take notes whilst doing the courses, this request has come up a number of times with my clients.

I've used WP Notepad for my LMS sites and feedback has been great (see below link, pls note its an affiliate link)
Its ajax-based with auto-saving so that students can take notes while they watch the lesson video uninterrupted.
You can also allow students to mark a lesson note as completed so that admin can view all completed notes for a specific lesson.
