      Hi there,

We're definitely further along. The overall feature code itself is working. We're currently working on a few additional special additions, to ensure the setup flow for Apple Pay is as smooth as possible (generally, setting up Apple Pay has quite a few steps involved, as a merchant).

We're working on getting this process as smooth as possible.

Expect a launch during Q1 (Jan/Feb/Mar) of 2017. We're aiming to keep it during the first half of Q1, as best we can, as we want to share this new feature with everyone, just as much as everyone wants to make use of it.

      Hi Steve,

While it may not happen right away, this is definitely on our roadmap, yes. :)

      Hi Karyn,

I really wasn't intentionally being patronizing at all. I'm really sorry my comment came across this way, to you. That said, there's no need to make this personal, or take such a harsh and personal approach in your responses.

It is important to note that we cannot always state the exact status of a project, due to certain discussions being in progress, and an ETA which may potentially change.

The facts (as you requested), are that we're working on Apply Pay support, and have made significant and noteable progress. There are a few unavoidable items we need to ensure are addressed before launching this feature, which has taken longer than anticipated.

That is where we stand on this project, today. I appreciate your passion for this project, and we all very much appreciate your feedback.

We'll be sure to keep this thread updated with each of our movements on this project, and will update here as well once this is released.

      Thanks and regards,
      Matty Cohen.

      Hi Karyn,

I'm really sorry to read that you feel this way.

As can be seen by this idea's activity, and it's status, this is an actively developed idea, which we're making some really great progress towards.

I trust you'll recognise that an idea of this nature, especially given the short life-span of Apple Pay for Web thus far, is one we've made significant progress towards since the Apple Pay for Web announcement.

I'd advise keeping an eye on your inbox and the WooCommerce blog, for the latest on this idea as it progresses.

      Thanks and regards,
      Matty Cohen.

It's important that everyone understands how Apple Pay works. :)

Apple Pay is handled at the payment processor level, not at the store level. ie: the payment provider would need to support Apple Pay.

If the payment provider supports Apple Pay, and they have a WooCommerce extension, that extension could be made to support Apple Pay. :)

        Hi there,

Thank you for your feedback. We'd love to assist in seeing where the extension can be improved to work better with Quickbooks online, and other services of a similar nature.

Please do contact our helpdesk, reference this idea thread, and mention that I requested you log the ticket with us, so we can assist further.

        Thanks and regards,
        Matty Cohen.

@Ben - We're back at the review stage, as Odoo is quite cumbersome to configure. We're looking into ways to make that easier when setting up a WooCommerce integration.

            Hi Cliff,

We began work on this project and are currently in the product audit phase. The product needs some refinement before its launched, so we're spending time to ensure its up to par.

            Thanks and regards,

                  Hi Stephan,

Thanks for your feedback on this.

It sounds, to me, like you may have set up your bookable products incorrectly.

                        Hi Richard,

To clarify, the link to FlexSlider on the WooSlider page is not a demo. It is simply saying that WooSlider is powered by FlexSlider. :)

                        Hi John,

Please note that, as this idea is "under review", this means that the idea for a carousel slideshow option in WooSlider is being reviewed and spec'ed out by our development team.

Please also note that this is a forum for expressing ideas and not a forum for airing your experience with the product.

We do not support all features offered in FlexSlider at this time. That is correct. The reason for this is that we feel it is of utmost importance to plan and develop each feature into WooSlider in the best way possible for WooSlider. For example, even a feature such as "randomize", which has been in WooSlider since version 1.0.0, is seen differently by users of WooSlider than by users of FlexSlider.

FlexSlider and WooSlider are two separate products; one that powers the other.

We are working on adding a carousel feature to WooSlider. Keep an eye out for updates in your "Dashboard > Updates" screen, after activating your WooSlider license. :)

                          Hi there,

Could you please clarify the slideshow type you're using? Could you also please explain a bit more about what you're looking to achieve?

The "Featured Image" is used with the "Posts" slideshow type and is used on the "Posts" and "Slides" slideshow types when displaying thumbnail pagination.

We are exploring adding similar functionality to optionally display the captions of images in the “attached images” slideshow type.

Regarding the “slides” slideshow type, this isn’t the slideshow type’s intention. The intention of the “slides” slideshow type is for the WYSIWYG editor to be a blank canvas, if you will, for each of the slides. The “Featured Image”, in this case, is used purely for the “thumbnails” pagination, at this stage.

We are exploring other avenues for where this image can be put to use as well. :)
