    +3 !!!

I am currently attempting to implement my own version of this with jQuery.

We use AutomateWoo to send cancellation followup emails in order to ask for feedback, but our response rate is really bad, so we have not been able to get much useful feedback.

Having this be a required step when a customer clicks that Cancel button would be extremely helpful.

I've done a lot of research about exit surveys for membership business models, and the general consensus is that an open ended question (i.e. a textarea field) is the most effective, rather than giving preset reasons to choose from. So I think having the option (in WooCommerc Subscriptions setings) to serve a simple, required textarea field, with a customizable prompt would be a great addition to the Subscriptions plugin.

I was about to start a new idea called "Pre Order Subscriptions", but i think this is basically saying the same thing. I have a virtual subscription that has a synchronized billing cycle (on the first of each month). Many prospective subscribers want to pre-order the subscription and have it start on the 1st of the following month, while many others want to gain access to the content immediately at a prorated price. With the subscriptions extension I can either have all virtual synchronized subscriptions be prorated, or none. But I can't offer both options.
