  1. Automated email with account info sent when new member imported and/or new user account is generated

When you import new members and user accounts are generated for them, no notification is sent to the holders of the new accounts.

This means for an imported membership list of 20 contacts, I'd have to send login and password to each of the 20 contacts manually after importation, which really sucks.

An automated email should be sent to these contacts upon successful importation with all the account info or at least the login info in the email.

  3. Integrate WooMemberships & Chained Products

I would love to offer my members a free or discounted product with the purchase of a membership at checkout.

Ex: When a member buys a membership they are given an existing product for free as a signup bonus.

It's really odd that WooMemberships doesn't integrate with "Chained Products".

  5. WooCommerce Memberships: Tiered Membership Levels

I would love to see the ability to have tiered membership levels so we can restrict content easier. Basically adding in option to grant access based on other memberships.

    Example:
Tier 1 [Free]: Access all Tier 1 content
Tier 2 [Paid]: Access all Tier 2 content + Tier 1 content
    Tier 3 [Paid]: Access all Tier 3 content + Tier 1 & 2 content

  6. WooCommerce Memberships: Improved Exporting Member Info

Update 1.6 was a good start. Thanks!

I like to also see the member's email address, address and phone number in the exported CSV file. It would also be nice if the phone number is listed with the address when I go to WooCommerce > Memberships and click a member's name.

We also pay for Checkout Field Editor. It would be great if Memberships and the export feature could also have the option of including the additional fields from the checkout page.

I run a non-profit and we use Memberships to track members of each of our programs. The exported…

  7. Dynamic Membership Lookup Filter

When viewing the Members Tab of Memberships, I fully expected to see dynamic links at the top next to "All (###) | Active (###) | Paused (##)" representing each Membership Plan I had created. It would function much like the Group plugin performs on the "Users" interface in that if a group exists, there is a built-in filter link created for that group listing the number of users belonging to that group. In the same way, I expected to see the Membership Plans I had created along with the number of people with Active memberships for that Plan and by…

  9. Memberships

Ability to secure downloadable files without needing a product. Example: a club might want to publish AGM papers and minutes to members only, by providing a secured page with links to the files. Even if the link to the file is on a secured page, getting hold of the link means a non-member can see the file because the file itself is not secured. Setting up a free downloadable product is extremely clunky for this application, and doesn't give the opportunity for text around the links.

  10. WooCommerce Memberships: Access based on start date

It would be great to have the ability to restrict content based on membership start date. For instance, I sell weekly meal plan subscriptions. I give the content in pdf form as a file download as well as in a series of pages with recipe cards that they can access online.

How it is now, if someone signs up today, they would have online access to ALL meal plans from the past via the online versions unless I take them down the week after (or at some point after) they are originally released as the content for that week.

    It…

  11. Upgrade of membership should remove the previous one

When somebody has a free membership and buys a paid one, he should be removed temporarily from the free (until paid expires). This is because if you use in-post content restriction, having two memberships will show it two times.

  12. Membership Functionality

At this time Memberships only serve to control access to web content by granting or restricting access to products, pages, etc.

What is missing is the capacity to interact with the members.

Sending email to the "membership" seems an essential function for anyone who sells events. There seem to be a core of essential functions that companies that do events, workshops, classes, etc., would use regularly and would be relatively easy to implement.

This would change memberships from a simple restrict content or give a discount to a much more powerful relational tool to communicate with members.

  13. Additional Content Restriction Options

A fairly standard method of content restriction in Wordpress plugins is to restrict post content past a certain point. This is often achieved by using the 'more' tag. This is valuable for posts where you may want to show 5 paragraphs for example but lock down the last 5.

In WooCommerce Memberships I can either lock the page down with an excerpt (which is too short and doesn't play well with homepages) or use the shortcodes.

The shortcodes can create some cool combinations but for standard posts it means a shortcode to protect the post, a shortcode to display to…

  14. Enable category and product discounts to be applied separately

At the moment when you apply a discount to a category and then apply a discount to a product within that category the discounts are applied on top of each other.

This doesn't work if you want a particular product within the category to have a lesser discount than the overall category discount.

Please add the ability to specify that the product discount should be applied instead of the category discount.

  15. WooCommerce Memberships Paywall

It would be nice if you could allow a certain number of posts to be read for free and when the user hits that amount, prompt them to purchase a subscription/membership.

  16. Limit individual memberships to 1 per user.

Logged in members can purchase the membership over and over again. This is not ideal as it creates repeated emails to admins and users.

  17. WooCommerce Membership: Membership Dependent Widgets

The ability to assign any WordPress widgets and or widget areas to membership levels. The assigned widget will only be viewable on specific membership assigned page sidebars after logging in based on membership. Prior to logging in and after logging out the widget will be hidden.

  18. WooCommerce Memberships: Restrict Taxonomies Directly From Edit

It would be awesome if we could restrict a product or post taxonomy to certain membership plans directly from the taxonomy admin screen (which is possible in Groups Restrict Categories). So I could go into product category A and restrict it to Gold and Silver members only instead of going into the respective membership plans and restricting the category twice. We can already restrict posts directly from the edit screen, why not taxonomies?

  19. Drip restricted content based on synchronized Subscription renewal period.

When using the Subscriptions "renewal sync" feature, this would allow us to setup "drip" rules for restricted content based on the synchronized membership renewal schedule. For example, you could configure a page or post to only become accessible to a member 5 days after the first synced renewal date for their membership plan. You could schedule posts or pages to become sequentially available on the same day everyone in a membership plan gets charged.

Currently the only available Content Restriction accessibility (drip) rules are:
    - immediately
    - specify a time (number of days, weeks, months, or years)
    - after free…

  20. Membership plugin: Products with a membership-discount should be discounted when buying simultaneously with the membership

Products with a membership-discount should be discounted when buying simultaneously with the membership. This should be the default behavior so I would almost call it a bug rather than a missing feature. I can't imagine anyone expecting this to work differently. PaidMembershipPro has this in their free version but it doesn't work for the Membership/Subscription plugin combo which has a premium price.

    Thanks for adding this!
