  1. europe

    Hey there,
I am managing a couple of webshops using woocommerce. all based in the Netherlands and all only shipping/selling within the Eurpean Union. Under settings I need to select 24 countries every time to include the whole of the european union. Isn't there a faster way? Either through importing the same list every time or selecting the Europea Union as a region. Now I need to search and select, which is time consuming.

  2. REST API: Allow More Than One Status For Orders Endpoint

With the current version of the WooCommerce REST API (v2), it looks like the Orders endpoint only allows a string to limit the status fo the order.

It would be nice if it was possible to limit the orders returned to more than one status, perhaps by making status an array.

  3. Default should be "My shipping address is the same as my billing address"

The should be an option that says "My shipping address is the same as my billing address" (at Checkout) and it should be checked by default and contracted, like most other websites.

Online shoppers are used to Checkout pages with this very common settings. WooCommerce's default is confusing and creates more problems than if it stuck to the norm. Check Amazon, check Walmart, check the biggest retailers, they all have "My shipping address is the same as my billing address" at Checkout.

It speeds things up, creates no confusion. Better user experience, more sales.

  4. 'Show password' button in sign up form

Woocommerce doesn't have "Password confirm" button in sign up form, so I think for best user expierence should be add "Show password" button near Password field.

  5. Woocommerce js and CSS removed from excluding woocommerce pages.

Woocommerce js and CSS remove from excluding woocommerce pages, for example I use woocommerce for shop page only and I have other 15 page where I am not use woocommerce but it js and CSS added in header so any hooks can you implementing where woocommerce is not use then js and CSS not added in this page.like contact form 7 is provided where form is not added then js and css not added, it's provide a one hook. Because this is major draw back for website page speed.

  6. Put Woocommerce Helper menu item in the Woocommerce dropdown (not dashboard dropdown)

It doesn't make sense to people who are new to Woocommerce to have the Helper link under the Dashboard dropdown in admin - this is one of the last places I'd look. There would be more context if it was put in the Woocommerce dropdown menu.

I was told the reason is that "not all of our plugins are in the WooCommerce dropdown, like Follow Up Emails"

But it still makes more sense to put it in the Wocommerce dropdown.

  7. Set Variations with Value:Label

It would be great if when setting variations you couldn't just set the Label text and have it automatically be the Value as well. It would be great to be able to do something like Value:Label | Value:Label so that the actual value sent didn't have to be what you set the label to.

  9. upc

UPC's are now critical to Google, Amazon. Why is this field not a basic part of WooCommerce. It would be easy to add. Also important is the Manufacturers Product Number, which there is no field for on Woo.

  10. Add an Option on Thumbnail Crop

It will be very good feature (Thumb Crop) if we can choose from specific portion of the original image: left/top, center/top, right/top, left/center, center/center, right/center, left/bottom, center/bottom, right/bottom.

This is a small feature but very helpful for woocommerce users.

We really need this option? Very appreciate if you can adopt it

  11. Bring Canvas theme into compliance with WordPress codex

My request is that the Canvas theme be updated to come into compliance with the WordPress codex.

Specifically, Canvas displays raw <span> class code instead of rendering the class because it uses thetitle() instead of thetitleattribute() in many elements (breadcrumbs, h1, h2, etc) across the theme.

According to the codex[1], thetitle_attribute() is the preferable usage

I was directed here in response to opening a trouble ticket regarding this issue.

Because I don't find a category for the Canvas theme, I suspect my suspicions are true that Canvas is an in-all-but-name-only orphaned product.

  13. Add Associated Child Attributes – For Example "Primary Colour > Detailed Colour"

Improve the standard attribute functionality in two ways:

    1. Enable attribute groups, to quickly create products based on their type. For example, product type A may be made up of attribute 1, 2 and 3. Whereas product type B may be made up of attribute 1, 2, 4 and 5. Attribute groups would massive improve the speed at which you can add these products.

    2. Enable child attributes. For example, product A may have a primary colour of blue, but a detailed colour of navy, teal or turquoise. When filtering items in the shop, you would want to be able to filter…

  15. Easy global editing of "Add to Cart" text in admin

Suggested in the comments for this post on WooCommerce for nonprofits: https://woocommerce.com/2017/01/extensions-nonprofit-woocommerce/#comment-3177182

Add an option to the settings allowing admin to globally change "add to cart" text to text of their choice, ex. "add to basket," "buy now," "make a donation," etc.

Right now this must be accomplished via an edit to functions.php (https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/change-add-to-cart-button-text/).

Alternate idea: build it into Storefront Powerpack if it's not already (IIRC you can only change color on buttons, not text).

  17. User email addresses for Administrator accounts do not need to be unique

Every time I create an account for internal use it needs to have a unique email address. This means I need to create fictitious accounts to create User Accounts for various functions.

If I am hiring a temporary or contract employee I have to create a fake address to create the account. The person may not be starting work for a week. They may never have an internal email address.

I do not want to have to wait until the last minute to prepare access for them. I do not want to send their login credentials to their personal accounts.

  18. Add an "Update User" button to the top of the Edit User Screen

The "Edit User" screen has become a long long screen to scroll through.

From time to time I need to change user Role at the top of the screen. I have staff that occasionally need the Administrator Role. It is simple to change the role, but then I have to scroll five times with the mouse wheel to get to the "Update User" button.

The information in the "Edit User" screen has not changed, just the Role. Scrolling down it only introduces the possibility of changing information in error while scrolling down the screen.

A simple "Update User" near the…

  20. Attribute "global" stock

The abbility to set a stock level for an attribute, an exmaple:
An size attribute for tshirts; it would be a lot easier to control stock for all products that use that attribute than to set stock levels on every product :)
