Admin Message on Cancellation
As we are working with limited stock, it would be lovely to get a notification when a pre-order is cancelled to be able to adjust the stock count. Another workaround would be to disable user cancellations e.g. only admins can cancel pre-orders. These should be oprional settings of course.

WooCommerce Pre-Orders to allow Mixed Carts
We would like WooCommerce Pre-Order to allow mixed cart orders, which also includes in stock products?
A tick-box per product would be great to allow mixed cart.
Mixed cart warning pop-up alerts your shoppers when they have both pre-order and in-stock items in the same cart.
We have moved across from Shopify where we were using https://apps.shopify.com/preorder-now. It is very similar to this extension, but also allows mixed carts.

Loose the serialized date and add lead time
Make the date an actual date/time format instead of whatever serialized format it exists in now.
Also, add a lead time field in addition to the 'available by' field. Sometimes we'll have products for sale which we have no intention of stocking but have reliable fulfillment times (1 week, 7-10 business days, etc). Instead of forcing me to choose a hard date, create an additional 'lead time' variable allowing me to specify how many days or weeks it will take for me to acquire an item for sale i.e. special orders.
Then customers will know when they purchase the item…

The ability to bulk resend the "Your Preorder is Ready for Payment" email to those who haven't paid
I’d like to recommend a feature for a future update for the WooCommerce Pre-order module that would be a HUGE timesaver.
I sell most of my products via Pre-orders, and not everyone pays when the system first sends them the “Your Preorder is Ready for Payment” email.
I give folks a few weeks to get their payment together and complete their order, and then I contact those who haven’t paid to give them a second notice before I cancel their preorder.
The thing is, I cannot “bulk” re-send the “Your Preorder is Ready for Payment” email to those who haven’t…

Pre-orders - "When to Charge" global setting + override by product
Would be great to set global charging pre-order option. Looks like "upon_release" is set by default. We are web agency and we'll take care when creating product. But our clients might not ;)
Maybe we can set it global + optional override setting by product. If not, just add applyfilter on the woocommercewp_select into html-product-tab-options.php line 56.
Thanks.

Pre-orders plugin - search in the release date change area
good morning,
in the area dedicated to the change date of a product there is no automatic search by product name, this is unthinkable to search for love with the drop-down menu
can you implement a search so that I don't have to break my eyes looking for the products to which I have to change the release date?1 vote -

WooCommerce Pre-Orders let several people allow them to select pay later, then combine all of their products and be placed as one.
Allow this plugin collect orders from several people allow them to select pay later, then combine all of their products and be placed as one order. Using this in conjunction with a multistore setting would be amazing

Release on units sold
Release on units sold means that only if we get the minimum sales we go forward with the launch.
This is useful for workshops, courses, etc. Sometimes it is not profitable to have a workshop for 10 people.
Let's say we define a 20 people minimum for a particular event to be profitable. If only 10 people buy it, then the event doesn't happen and we would need to refund everyone and that is not ideal.
If this ever gets implemented we could even move to conditional ways to add more detail, example:
- Certain event is scheduled to happen…3 votes -
Adding a deposit to pre-order
I ordered this plugin so I could take pre-orders. However we are a small store and we do quite expensive items on pre-order only. I would like to take deposits rather than a fee for pre-ordered items. It does seem weird that a pre-order plugin doesn't offer a deposit feature. When using the fee section it adds onto the total rather than subtract it from the total like a deposit would. I am sure most people would want this feature as well.

availability date time
Currently, after saving a pre-order availability date/time, it does not return the date when I return to the product -> pre-order tab.

WooCommerce Pre-Order
At the moment, Pre-Orders only work at the product level. It would be great to set Pre-Order availability at the variation level.

Pre-Order Admin Notice
When a pre-order is X days (Set in admin) away from release, email an admin account with the notice it is coming up including a list of orders with that stock on pre-order so we can have that list ready for arrival OR prostpone the release due to stock delays etc.

Multiple Pre-Order Products Checkout (if products have same dates for pre-order)
Currently we are doing pre orders just using the regular checkout process. The problem is if they add 1 pre order product and 1 ready to ship product. If they do that we have to hold the order until the pre order is finished. They aren't happy about waiting that long to get both shirts.
If 2 items have a set of same parameters (dates) it should be relatively straight forward to allow them to be added to the same cart.

Deposits for Pre-Orders
The Woo Commerce Pre-Orders plugin allows you to charge an optional pre-order fee. Unfortunately, it is only charge on top of the regular product price and can't be deduced from the full paiement. Because of that, this pre-order fee can't be used as deposit.
One option would be to lower the product price so the product price + the pre-order fee equal the final product price. If the price is $100 and I want to charge $25 upfront, I could indeed set the price to $75 + $25 of preorder fee. That could work if the displayed price includes the…

Make stock status 'In stock' force pre-orders to disable
Our stock is managed externally and is updated every day via an automated CSV import. When a product is marked as 'In stock' (in the imported CSV file), the product page still says 'Pre-order' instead of 'Buy' because the 'Enable Pre-Orders' field in the back-end isn't automatically disabled when a product is back in stock (in this case it's back in stock before the initial set availability date). This means that we have to do a lot of manual work updating each and every single product that's back in stock and by not being compatible with CSV imports the Pre-Orders…

Deposit for Pre-order
In many industries, it is standard to charge a deposit for a pre-sale and charge the balance when the order is fulfilled. I would love to see this functionality added to the Pre-Order extension.

Pre-order enable/disable by Product Variation
Develop the Pre-orders extension to be enabled/disabled by product variation.
The extension can currently only be enabled only by product, which gives the impression that in-stock variations will not be shipped until the pre-order shipment date, or that all variants will be shipped on the same date.
This development could be used in a number of ways:
Physical Goods Shops: Useful for taking pre-orders for product variants, when some of the product's variants are in stock and others are out of stock
Physical and Digital: Useful for staggering release date by variant. For example a product could have Gold, Silver…
