  1. Add a button shortcode for amazon pay to simplify custom integration with customized theme

We often have requests to display the button in the mini cart or on the homepage. It would therefore be useful to have a shortcode to add to simplify this type of task. Something like [amazonpaybutton].

  2. Let customer switch payment method once they logged in

The customer should be able to change payment methods. A lot of our customers call our support as they find this confusing and annoying if they changed their mind to use another payment method.
I guess the easiest would be to let them log out or if its technically possible without logging out sth like "click here to change payment method"

  3. Amazon Pay does not read details (VAT number or company name) from Amazon Business accounts

Today exists 2 kind of Amazon accounts: normal Amazon accounts and Amazon Business accounts.

Using Amazon Pay plugin by WooCommerce - if the user logged by an Amazon Business account - the API does not import details as company name, VAT number and many others datas (for specific countries), but only the normal details as name and surname, address, phone number and mail address.

If a customer choose to pay by Amazon Pay plugin and it have an Amazon Business account is because it want an headed invoice. So why the Amazon Pay ignore this datas?

    I think that WooCommerce…

  4. Suggestion for a couple more options

Hello, the plugin works great but I think it lacks some options.

    • It would be great to have an option to choose where to display the button in the checkout page. Right now it can only be set to the top of the page, but it doesn't look good there IMHO.

    • It would also be great to have the Amazon Pay button on single product pages. On my site I have the PayPal checkout button there and people use it all the time. So, why not also have the Amazon button?

    Thank you very much.

Need 2 different settings for Amazon Pay. Due to Amazon's rules, you can only set it to authorize until you ship the product. However when selling virtual/downloadable products, there should be a separate setting to allow immediate capture for those.

  7. Allow the possibility to trigger another payment, using another payment method, in one-time payment

Decline handling for subscription: In all the decline cases for subscriptions, the buyer is redirected to an error page, from which he/she has the possibility to trigger another payment, using another payment method. Would it be possible for the InvalidPaymentMethod scenario, to have the same behavior we have for the one-time payment integration? My idea is that, if a card is expired, the next payments after the first one will fail as well, so it would be good to give the possibility to the buyer to update the payment method for the billing agreement. To do so, the Address and…

  8. Allow transactions > $1000 via async/IPN

Currently, transactions > $1000 cannot be processed via Amazon Pay due to the need for verification.

  9. Does not work with Facebook mobile browser

When browsing a site using Facebook mobile app browser (typically the default phone's browser but inside the Facebook apps shell). You aren't able to use Amazon Pay, as the popup to login will not display.

  10. Compatibility with WooCommerce EU VAT Number

VAT Number field is not displayed. So proceeding to checkout will display invalid VAT number.

  11. Capture hook for automatic processing

Medium-sized and bigger merchants do have a need to automate their order processing and can not issue the capture manually from the backend for each order. Please provide a way (e.g. via webhook, cron on status change, ...) to issue a capture without manual interaction.
