  1. Set GTIN as a field like/next to SKU

GTIN is a must have Field for every single product, and of course for each variation. Ull ned it for almost every market place or pricing websites.
GTIN is a international identifier for products and it is not an attribute.

  2. import export shop settings

Have had a couple of instances where I needed to duplicate the shop settings from site to site... a user has multiple businesses, and or moving the site w/o doing a full db clone. Would be cool if the WooCommerce settings could be exported/imported without having to manually reconfigure the shop.

  3. Set low stock notification threshold per product (rather than globally)

Right now it seems like the qty at which to send a low stock notification is set globally (once for all products). This creates problems if you have different lead times with suppliers. For instance, if you have a product that sells once per day and reorders have a two week leadtime, you need to set the notification to trigger at qty 20 or so to be safe. If you have an item that hardly ever sells, and you can restock it within a few days, maybe a low-stock notification of qty 1 will work.

    I think it is vital…

  4. Idea - An admin function to duplicate orders

Can you add an admin function to duplicate an order or to create a new order from an existing transaction? We sell equine feed supplements. We have a large percentage of phone orders where we manually create each order. Our clients will order the same products for 3-4 months. It would be nice to be able to auto fill their bill to and ship to information from a previous order or to duplicate the previous order with a new order number.

  5. Add separate house number field in checkout

Every major platform offers a separate field to enter the house number in checkout, rather than entering this together with the street name in the "address 1" field.

There is a very good reason for this. It ensures that addresses are formatted correctly. It is very difficult for shipping label API's to correctly split house numbers from street names in all cases for all European addresses. Shipping labels without the correct house number information leads to delays, returns, unhappy customers and a lot of extra costs for the seller.

It is time WooCommerce joined the other professional platforms and provide…

  6. Prices display including tax in the order edit screen.

Woocommerce to have an extra column in the edit order screen. This column displays the tax inclusive price per product line. That way if you want to reduce a product price you can just enter the tax inc price and the website does the calculations for you.

  7. layered navigation hide out of stock items

When people use the layered navigation plugins that are available they dont want to know if you make a product in their size they want to know if you HAVE a product in that size! :) If it could only show items that are still in stock the world would be a better place!

I noticed that the layered nav widget uses the attributes values to function.
This works fine for most products. However, for variable products, shouldn\'t it use the variations values data instead to show what\'s available?
    In a test I did, I edited a variable product, and…

  8. Automatically calculate variation prices

Each attribute used for a variation has a value, so does the base product. When creating all variations, its them a manual task to calculate with a calculator the variation price then add to the sale price.
It would be far easier if an attribute differential price could be set, then this used to calculate the variation price with link all variations. It is currently a maintenance nightmare. This method could also be used to easily update prices, if for example only one element of the price changes such a the price of one attribute.

  9. Create Detailed Tax Report for WooCommerce

Ecommerce sites are subject to complex sales tax reporting requirements around the world. It would be helpful to have the ability for WooCommerce to: (1) define additional tax rules for each item sold (i.e., tax by type of product/service); and (2) generate a detailed sales tax report that can be exported to Excel.

The sales tax report can include information such as:
    1. Sales tax collected by zip code and/or county (some sales tax differs by zip code, county and not just be state)
    2. Sales tax exemptions (to non-profits, retailers, etc.)
    3. Sales tax refunds/credits provided.

  10. Limit Available on Backorder quantities

It would be really great to add an option to limit Backorders to a certain quantity.
Many sellers have limited stock at hand and can produce/resupply a certain amount of new stock quickly. There it would be essential to have an option to allow backorder, but to limit the maximum allowed backorders so the production/resupply capacity is not overwhelmed

  11. Automatically restore stock after cancelled order

The expectation is for the stock to automatically restore for canceled orders. This has been brought up a few times:

    https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/search?q=stock+cancel&ref=cmdform&type=Issues

And there is an old third-party plugin that will help achieve this:

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-auto-restore-stock/

However, it would be nice if WooCommerce provided an option to automatically restore stock for canceled orders globally or if it was to restore stock for canceled orders per product.

  12. Ability to create "global" product attributes from API

For now, we can only create products attributes for one product from the API, but not the store attributes. It could be great for plugin developpers to be able to create attributes as "global" in the store, and then assign them directly when creating a product from the API

  13. Autocomplete off

    New property for “checkout fields”:
    autocomplete = on/off

To be able to turn off autocomplete for certain fields as described here for other properties such as “placeholder”, etc.: https://docs.woothemes.com/document/tutorial-customising-checkout-fields-using-actions-and-filters/

  14. WooCommerce Reports by SKU number

I would like WooCommerce to provide the ability to report on product sales by SKU number.

Most of the stores I build have variable products (shirt color, shirt size) and I need to know what colors and sizes are selling the most.

I think this would be a greatly-appreciated update for people who track their sales and make decisions accordingly.

Help me upvote this idea, and we might see it in the next update. :)

  15. Display all Product Variations

The ability to display product variations on a product category page? or any pages for that matter? Maybe create a shortcode for this? This would be very useful when filtering products using layered navigation!

  16. WooCommerce - Single image for multiple products

Something that I've run into during my present project was the inability to attach an existing image from either my media library or NextGEN gallery to multiple products. So, I have to upload the same image multiple times, taking up my time and server space.

That or, another way to attach images to a product from your media library, or even better, your NextGen Gallery. The wordpress media library with a large amount of files is a joke to work with.

  17. Makes states Woocommerce configurable

Add a method to limit the states before clicking "place order", similar to the limit countries function.

Many retailers either cannot or do not want to ship to every state.

Using "woocommerceaftercheckout_validation" function is not acceptable, since this happens after the order has been placed.

  18. WooCommerce should not reveal an overview of all plugins of the page to non-admin users

WooCommerce shows an overview of all installed plugins to our customers. It undermines a business-model working with WooCommerce, as, as agency, we are spending time/effort to select the right plugins, and WooCommerce reveals it to our customers.

Please consider to not publish an overview of all plugins.
If it is, for some reason really required to show, please make it so that it is easy to grant access, and to revoke access to user(profile)s!!
The current way menu (WP Dashboard - WooCommerce -) "Status" has a link ending: admin.php?page=wc-status)

We have tried 5 plugins (User Role Editor, Capability manager enhancement,…

  19. best before date

Many WC's user have food or product with best before date. They need to be able to manage the stock depending FIFO/LIFO and have visibility when the product will expire in order to apply sale, coupon etc.

    Thanks for considering.
