It's been almost a year, any update on the progress? How come simple PayPal checkout is not a part of this ecommerce plugin yet??

Just a note, PayPal Digital Goods uses Express Checkout and is ideal for selling downloadable goods. It requires an additional configuration step but also makes a smoother purchase experience.

This is best for those of us selling downloads. We don't need to require a phone number and shipping address before directing the user to Pay Pal.
