Dynamic pricing / Regular pricing to work in conjunction with coupon codes.
In many cases, we set products in discount that we do not want coupon codes to be applied on top of these catalog discounts, currently when creating a coupon code it allows you choose not to apply a coupon if other coupons were already applied and it will be great to add the same option to not be applied if other price rules have already been applied.

Well here we are, 7 plus years and no fix. Does anyone have a fix they want to share? Did anyone buy custom code anywhere that worked?

Hey - funny someone recently commented here as only yesterday I go the promotional email for the woomarketing bundle that includes the dynamic pricing plugin - https://woocommerce.com/products/woomarketing-bundle/
It is logical that there are many other ideas with more votes comparing to this but what really strikes me is that people focus mainly on adding more functionality to Woo - which is a good thing - and forgetting about improving current functionalities. I find dynamic pricing to be a very useful tool for marketing and it really needs to work seamlessly.
There is also this relevant thread --> http://ideas.woocommerce.com/forums/133476-woocommerce/suggestions/3783973-display-dynamic-pricing-discount-clearly

It would be really nice to have an option to choose if to apply the coupon to regular price or price or selling_price

Any updates on this now?

I agree - unfortunately also the two plugins I ve found in codecanyon doing dynamic pricing are not supporting this - so in general this is a bigger issue as there is really no solution around it.

March 03, 2012 is the date of this request. I'm no expert at math, but I think that's four years and a bit over 5 months at this point. Isn't that long enough to develop this functionality, with 77 votes for it?
It shouldn't take a presidential term to add a coupon code filtering feature.

Listen to your customers. This is basic functionality that every other ecommerce platform offers.

Hello unfortunately I cannot see there is an update on this despite my attempts. I will try again to post a ticket to Woo regarding this. Really disappointing as this for sure causes problems as customers can take the dynamic pricing discount plus the coupon discount on top of this!

Is there still no update on this? I just purchased this plugin and I have no use for it if this feature isn't implemented.
Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

Hello Lucas, have not heard anything back regarding this. Please let me know if there is a plan for this down the line.

Hello Lucas,
as I mentioned before, in 90% of the cases I ve run, the vendor wants either the discount coupon or the dynamic pricing discount to be applied on cart - not both.
So in the case of a cart coupon, the ideal would be that the discount coupon will apply only to the items that are not affected by dynamic pricing.
Let me know any thoughts.

Bill,
What if it's a cart coupon but only some of the items in the cart are being affected by dynamic pricing?

Hello Lucas, thank you for commenting on this.
I believe in general that main thing is to prevent coupons from being applied when a dynamic pricing rule is applied. Most of the vendors are not willing to have a discount being applied on top of a dynamic pricing rule. It is usually one way or the other.
If the coupon is per cart then the customer will not be able to checkout - as they should not get the discount on top of the dynamic pricing discount/offer
If the coupon is per product (as the scenario you are mentioning) then ideally the customer should be able to checkout instead of placing the order in two parts. But obviously product X and product Y should not be in the same category.

There are a couple different types of integration being asked for. Is the ability to disable coupons when dynamic pricing rules are applied the use case everyone is looking for?
What about coupons that apply to items in the cart which are not effected by dynamic pricing? If I receive a buy one get one offer on product X, but I also have a 10% discount coupon code for product Y what should happen?

Again this is the same idea as here so the votes should be counted together > http://goo.gl/7E5rRY.
Dynamic pricing plugin is really cool but the fact that it does not work with the core discount coupons is a pretty big issue plus some other stuff like not displaying clear notes on order notification emails and relevant pages when a dynamic pricing is applied (but that's another issue).
The thing is that this ideas will never be noticed here in the ideas board as there are many ideas prior with much more votes.
I m gonna open a woo ticket and see if I can push this as a github issue.

We need this to be solved. Coupons and dynamic princing must work together.
For example: If a I add discounts based on user roles, I don't want them to be able to use coupons in addition.
It is been 2 years people asking for this MUST feature.

As of this comment, the two posts have a combined total of 60 votes. Any updates?
