More than one payment gateway needed. Paypal and stripe.
We have a problem with the Nude Beach website integration with Xero.
When a sale on the website is marked “Completed” an invoice is sent to Xero and a payment linked to that invoice is also sent to Xero.
The problem lies in the fact that we have to nominate an account in Xero for the payment to be sent to but we are only able to select one account.
Some payments are made via Paypal and some are made via Stripe so we have run into a problem where one or the other of these accounts is receiving payment info that belongs to the other. Eg: If we nominate the Paypal account in Xero (using the dashboard in Wordpress) we end up with items that have been paid by Stripe appearing in the Paypal bank feed in Xero.
Is it possible at all for the website to determine whether the item was paid for using Paypal or Stripe and send the payment info to the correct corresponding account in Xero? The problem isn’t the invoice and sales account part of the transaction – it’s the payments. For every invoice that is sent to Xero there is a matching payment that allows us to close off the sale against the funds received. The Paypal payments are getting sent to the Paypal bank account in Xero but unfortunately the Stripe payments are also being sent to the Paypal bank account whereas they need to be sent to a different bank account named Stripe Clearing account. Once a Stripe payment is in the Paypal account Xero doesn’t let you change the bank account so we would have to dlete them from the Paypal account and manually create new ones in the Stripe bank account ledger. Just wondering if there is a way to send Paypal payments to Paypal and Stripe payments to the Stripe Clearing account. Currently we are only able to select one account within Woo Commerce for these payments. I hope this makes sense.
