Incorporating a Sales by State feature in the reports so we can use it fill out our Monthly Sales Tax Returns.

    Yes, agreed. This would be a good idea to provide by default in WooCommerce. Many entrepreneurs don't have an easy to calculate total monthly sales by their home state that's required for tax returns.

    This tax report is a step in that direction:
    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-reports&tab=taxes&range=last_month

    Since many installations are taxing only in their local states, this is showing sales tax for the state that needs to be reported. But it would be really nice to see the order for each tax item in the list, such as order total and type.
