Analytics tools for cross sale categories and/or tags using the Analytics & Sales Reports
As a store manager i would like to be able to have the tools to see the actual data on cross sell products for each category, and compare a degree of "attractiveness" for my customers, such that i am able to deliver targeted alternative categories at the end of the product list for my browsing customers.
This should increase the UX of my shop, and hopefully increase the chance of cross sell on category level.
The Analytics & Sales Reports tool is effective at getting an overview of the sale within each category, and i think this tool should be sufficient to deliver category cross sell data.
I'm not a data scientist though as a software engineer i think a degree of category "attractiveness" could be bound by the amount of orders where specific categories are present. The more times two categories are part of the same orders the higher "attractiveness" the two categories has towards each other. Therefore a point of cross sell on category level.
Would be nice if this feature could identify the most "attractive" tags and categories in between.
The definition of "attractiveness" is just a placeholder for a quantitative measure and there might be a better definition, though i do not have an lifetime to figure out the best definition, and therefore hope it explains the concept sufficiently.
Its also the first time i use this board and i were unsure what category to place this topic, even after looking at similar ideas, so bear with me if it has been tagged wrong.
