WooCommerce Sales Report Export
I think the fact that this isn't already in place is a crime.
WooCommerce is crying out for a sales report export button.
The end user needs to be able to export to a excel, numbers or styled xml file.
And have the choice of exporting between date regions on all products or selected categories.
You can already select a custom date range and export any report in WooCommerce: http://cld.wthms.co/1fLbw

Yes, but the report is only ever a summary. You can do all sales for a period or sales by a single product for a period (you can't export unless you select a product), but you can't do a breakdown export of sales by product or category for a period. This is what the accountants need to classify your sales. Have you never seen a financial report?
I had to download a report for every single product. And even there, it wanted to show me just top sellers, so I had to search for the products that had missed. Two of the products were unlabeled so could not be selected for a report.
Further, the exports are all one month off in their labels. When you select Year, it starts with January but the export labels Jan "14-12", Feb "15-1" and so on. Invitation for a mistake??
I went to run my first report today after getting some sales... WC really fell flat. Charts and graphs are nice, but these are only an overview at best. As others have commented, I simply assumed that more robust reporting would be included in an ecommerce solution like WC.
The export function is a step in the right direction, but it's still extremely limited in the amount of data it produces.
I would like to see an export of all product sales (or all sales in a certain category). Having to manually search for each product and exporting a CSV to get any real data is ridiculously cumbersome. This sales report should allow a given time period, then broken down by category, then broken down by product. Within that product, a breakdown of the original price and the price after sales/discounts/coupons for each purchase. Right now the best I can get is a total dollar amount per day. I have no idea how much each person paid, whether they used a coupon, what the original price was...
I am really disappointed and frustrated at the lack of any real reporting here. There have been several different threads requesting more robust reporting. "They get marked completed" -- and people are still asking for improvement... this has me wondering if I should start looking for a new ecommerce solution. :-(

Not sure what sort of reports you're looking for here, but would they be more detailed in nature? I'm needing a detailed-enough order detail report, showing basic order info, and a list of the items in the report, with at least a date/time range. Filtering by category would be nice, but not necessary.
Totally agree, woo commerce default report tools are a joke.
I sixth that!
seriously, it's tax time and I can't get a report of my total sales for 2013? wtf?
Really !!! this should be a basic standard item. Please get sorted ASAP
I fifth this :) Looking for this is how I stumbled on the thread. The last commenter said it well, it is essential for any retail/online marketer
i fourth this request! Just started up my shop, really happy with woocommerce, working smooth.
and then: i start to make good sales and all of the sudden i realize the sales reports of WC suck big time...
no cost of sale options, no decent look up function per product/period/customer with clear handy overview.
come on guys, this is retail, good reporting is one of the most important factors of keeping on top of your business!!
I third this request. Good grief guys I am shocked this isn't included!
