Product Add-Ons with Image as Selector
It would be nice if we could add an image for the add-ons and use that image as the selector, instead of a drop down.
This is now available with Product Add-Ons 3.0!

This is a great addition but the images to not carry through to order email images. Instead the product image is listed for each add-on selected. So an order for one product with 3 add-on items listed as an order with 4 images of the main product image.

Joshua from Echo5 made it work for checkboxes, still trying to figure out how to make it work for radio buttons, but I might be missing something that is already on the tutorial as I am not a a full-on WordPress developer nor a PHP developer.

I would really like this to happen, I currently use Check boxes and Select boxes.
The function of the plugin is fantastic, it would be very beneficial if an image was illustrating the add-on.
Use the thumbnail size image to fit, images given class names matching the add-on name etc. so styling can be controlled so people could show the add-on's in grid view or list view!
When images are selected they have a colored border to indicate they have been selected.
I would be very happy to pay for this add-on again if I can get the image added with the list or grid view option.

Add an option to include an image of the add-on product being offered. Just a simple thumbnail would suffice.

1) Specify the shipping dimensions of the option.
2) Specify the shipping weight of an option.
3) Ability to upload and display an image for an option - i.e. a swatch for color options.
Additional details:
I am using this extension with the USPS extension, so the first two suggestions would really help us to get the most out of the USPS extension.
Right now, I have the product shipping dimensions and weight set to accommodate the largest possible size of a product, so customers who order a small size are paying shipping for the largest size. If I set the weight to the smallest size, I lose a lot of money on international shipping; but having it set to the largest size is also a deterrent to people who want the lowest possible shipping rates.

I would like the ability to select images for the product add-ons, just like with normal attributes, so the front end shows them instead of radio buttons or select boxes.

I liked the idea too..
Also I think there should be a quantity box for each addon. So that if customer likes the addon then he can order for more than one addon, on single purchase of parent product. -

Wouldn't it be nice if the customer has the option to select an image from a list of images for the product of his choice? A few examples to illustrate the purpose of this extension:
Imagine having a store which sells several kinds of pies and pastry. Wouldn't it be nice for the customer after selecting the cake of his choice to be able to chose an image which will be 'printed' on his pie?
Imagine having a store which sells custom-made t-shirts. Wouldn't it be nice for the customer after selecting the basic shirt of his choice to be able to chose a custom drawing which will be 'printed' on his t-shirt?
Right now, one can use the radio buttons, the checkboxes or perhaps the select box. But it would be much nicer if somehow you could assemble a list with images and present the Product Addon options in a more visual way to the customer.
I took the liberty of creating a few simple mock-ups which will help to demonstrate my idea a little bit more. They can be found at:
