WooCommerce Bookings - Available Date Drop Down Instead of Date Picker
Our client runs hundreds of courses, across more than 20 locations. I've had to set up the same course for every venue. They only have one available start date per month for each course and location. It would be great to have the option to display a drop down list of available dates, rather than a very empty calendar.

I really need this too! My client has a mix of bookable products. Some are numerous through a each day of the month, others are only a few per year. A calendar really makes no sense for the latter.
They have requested a drop-down solution so I got as far as using this:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-bookings-dropdown/This works perfectly for the products that can only be booked by date but is no good when you add timeslots.

When available datepicker show only bookable date month? In our site booking is available only in November and December, so many customer assume booking is not available they have not try next next month, if direct datepicker show november month then it is easy for customer Or starting from nearest booking date month. Anyone have to know how to do? Thanks

I've done a user friendly dropdown date option for Woo bookings, you can download it free here,

+1 Having the choice of Drop-Down datepickers (including the option to enter dates manually) should be available out of the box.

I wish bookings was easier to modify. Of all the woocommerce plugins, this must be the worst - and the one where it's most needed.

We also need fixed duration dates, for example a tour that starts on a specific date for x number of days - so the user simply needs to select the start date to see how many spaces are available (or perhaps there is no actual date selection even needed as it simply starts on a given date for za fixed number of days.

This is a very important feature for better user experience.
In our case, at the end of a year we begin to set up products for next year. I have a few products in which the first bookable slot begins only in April. So on the frontend, the datepicker is greyed out from Dec to April. My customer assumed that my website was bugged and the datepicker was not working, not knowing that the date was available for selection in the April datepicker.
For such products, we have set up a product in the following manner:
Under the General tab:
- Booking Duration: Fixed Blocks of 12 days
Under the Availability tab:
- All dates are 'not-available by default'
- Added 8 custom date start and end date ranges, each lasting for 12 days.It would be great if we have a checkbox option to 'show dropdown list' instead of a calendar-datepicker. Data can be derived from the data ranges defined above. And on the front end teh user can select a date range from the ranges defined (which is 8 of them in our case).

AGREE COMPLETELY! WE NEED THIS! YES PLEASE! THANK YOU! = "It would be great to have the option to select available dates from a drop down, instead of a date picker." Is this very popular suggested feature on the product update roadmap? If so, when can we expect an WooCommerce Bookings plugin update?

Depends on the context. In my case (tour company) having the customer view the available dates on a calendar form helps them visualize their week and get organized. Having said that I do use a plugin with google calendar that shows upcoming tours as a list but only on the sidebar

Dropdown will be a great idea, our web site has sometimes 2 or 3 months in row without scheduled training... it is not nice to see the whole calendar empty. Or another solution will be if the calendar is display on the closest date available!!

I dont think dropdown is the best solution, talking about ux, datepicker is always the best. But at less, it would be great if do not display or highlight unavailable dates

I agree with this, would be nice to have the option of a drop-down box or the date picker.
