Buy a product as a gift for someone else.
Someone should be able to buy a product as normal, but choose to send it to someone else as a gift. They should be able to enter the giftee's address, with the option of adding a personalized message.
This seems like a very basic function that is unavailable.
To reiterate, we do NOT mean Gift certificates, free gifts with purchases, or gift wrapping options.

I can't believe there isn't a simple product for this. I've tried Smart Coupons, but it's messy with gift certificates that don't link to the intended product etc when the recipient receives.
It should be so simple.
BUY | GIFT
Gift takes you to checkout, you enter the recipient's email, name and message.
Recipient receives email (cc'ing purchaser) with a link that has them create an account and their virtual product is waiting for them
