When a user who already have a subscription of a specific length, it should be possible for that user to pay for pro-longing that subscription, rather than buying a second subscription. So any payments should go to extending the current subscription, rather than adding a new subscription.

This is especially important for websites that have manual renewal of memberships (and not automatic renewals). Let's say a person is subscribing for 12 month, and then wants to manually renew his subscription in advance of expiration. He therefore renews manually when there are three weeks left of the initial yearly sub. You then want the subscriber to have the new 12 months added to the end of the existing subscription. If not, the client "loses" three weeks, when the subscriptions are overlapping.

This is important functionality - please hope you can implement it!

Currently subscriptions end any free trial user is on when user switches subscription to prevent the user from getting additional free trial. That's fine but it can end original free trial prematurely. Let's say user was offered a free month. A week later he decides to upgrade his plan. His free trial is effectively reset and he starts being charged. If he was offered a free month he should still be getting a free month and only than being charged. A side effect of this is user being charged more than the highest tier. For example, lets assume three subscriptions with the same recurring monthly price (x) and different sign-up fee and a month trial period. The sign up fees are a, b, and c, a being the lowest, c being the highest. If the user purchases c he's charged only c in the first month. If the user purchases b and after a week upgrades to c, he's charged b + difference between b and c + x (the recurring price), as his trial was ended at the time of the upgrade and he was put on recurring charges. So effectively in the first month they paid more by x which just doesn't make any sense as it's more than the highest tier.

I’m using WooCommerce and Subscriptions to sell access to premium content. Currently its configured with a 6 months free trial. So users sign up, enter their credit card, and as long as they don’t cancel before the end of the trial, we get the money.

I’d like to move the credit card entry to the end of the free trial. In other words, people would sign up, have access for 6 months, then have to enter their card to continue getting access.

I have met many who don't understand this is just not build in. It would be a big improvement, I think. I hope it's possible :)

Currently, in the edit subscription page for an individual user, there is a link that states "Customer change payment method page →" that provides a link that can be sent to customers so they can update their billing information on their own.

I would like to also provide a link where shop owners can update credit card information as well if a customer/client calls them. Currently, they would have to go through the extra step of using a "Switch to User" plugin in order to update billing information, which is very cumbersome and can be easily fixed if there is a link provided for this.

Where a product is a subscription (variable or simple) that is sync'd to a day , the recurring total is not shown in the mini-cart.

Since WooCommerce charges the customer on the day it syncs, and in batches separate from any other products in their cart, it does not show up at all. This is misleading to the customer, and a potential liability as well.Wherever the customer is being shown their total due, it is reasonable to assume they are being shown everything that they do, and will owe. That that info is omitted, is what makes it misleading.

This does exist in the main cart & checkout, however.

I did bring this up to WooCommerce as an incomplete functionality issue, and it was agreed that this should be included, but as an enhancement.They did ask me to post it here for more community support (upvotes) to raise its priority, and so get implemented sooner.
