  2. fpx

    Hi All,

Since Stripe has already implemented FPX payment, can you guys include this payment method for the next plugin update ? FPX has been the top payment method in Malaysia instead of Credit Cards/Debit Cards.

80% of Malaysian agree that FPX felt more secured for them instead of entering Debit/Credit cards information. The documentation of FPX can be found at https://stripe.com/docs/payments/checkout/one-time/fpx .

Hoping to see it in the next plugin update !

  4. Add Afterpay and Klarna to the list of payment methods

Afterpay and Klarna are now both available via Stripe but the only things preventing the user of your extension to use these 2 payment methods and leverage more sales is the absence of integration for these 2 payment methods.

According to this post there is no ETA for these https://wordpress.org/support/topic/afterpay-and-clearpay-payments/#post-14148153
I think these 2 payment methods are probably one of the biggest update for Stripe users in months, it would be ideal to get the ability to integrate these via the extension asap.

  5. Add FPX support for Stripe plugin (Malaysia)

Stripe recently added support for FPX / Online banking facilities in Malaysia. Currently, the only payment method available through the plugin is credit cards.

FPX is widely preferred in Malaysia. Is it possible to add FPX support to the plugin please? Thank you very much!

  6. Include itemized order data when sending payments to Stripe.

The problem is that the Payments that Stripe records have no product, SKU, or quantity data, which can be very useful for accounting purposes.

There are now many 3rd party services that can link a stripe account with an online accounting service like Xero. This is better than an accounting extension that works directly from within WooCommerce, because WooCommerce does not record the Stripe processing fees.

So it would be great if the Stripe payment records included itemized order data, and for Subscriptions, differentiating between first-time subscription purchases, and renewal orders.

    Would this be possible?

  7. Replace Purple 'Buy Now' Button with G Pay Branded Button for Stripe for Woocommerce Plugin

Ever since we've installed Stripe for Woocommerce, we've had sales with Apple Pay, but the Google Pay button just confuses people.

Instead of G Pay branding, it's a purple (or white/dark) button that just says 'Buy Now'. It doesn't explain that it's to pay with Google/Chrome.

It would be great to have typical G Pay branding, just like the Apple Pay button has. I'm sure this would reduce confusion and increase sales.

  8. Add MasterPass payment method

"Masterpass is a third-party service that stores payment and shipping information for its users in order to streamline the checkout process. Instead of entering payment information on your checkout page, users can click the Masterpass button instead."

  10. Add Stripe fees to Woocommerce reports

It would be great if we could have (optionally) Stripe fees into the Woocommerce reports. Something like this, but in the core plugin instead of a third party one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-stripe-fee-in-report/

  14. Ability to Remove Stripe Logging from Defualt "Debug.log"

The stripe plugin logs all (or almost all) of its API calls to Stripe in the general "Debug.log", whether "Log debug messages" is checked or not in the "Settings". There needs to be a way to either have those messages not logged (or even better), for them to be included in the special Stripe log. Having all the API calls in the normal log makes it more difficult to address real issues that show up in the log.

  15. Payment Request Button (Google/Apple Pay) positioning options

We're looking to adopt the use of the payment request buttons on our WooCommerce store, alongside Paypal Checkout and Stripe as a regular Debit/Credit Card processor. I imagine this is a fairly common use case.

As it stands, the order of buttons at the checkout is less than ideal. From top to bottom:
    - Payment Request Button
    - Proceed to Checkout (Native Woo)
    - Paypal Checkout

I think it would be beneficial to have more granular control over the exact order, potentially by grouping the "express checkout" methods together so it is instead laid out by:
    - Proceed to checkout…

  17. Sync Inventory between Stripe and WooCommerce

I love that WooCommerce can process payments with Stripe, but with Stripe's offline capabilities, both inventories should sync for proper inventory tracking. This would greatly aid in proper store management.

  18. Reduce number of requests on product pages

The Stripe gateway initiates 35 requests totaling ~150kb on each product page. It appears that most requests are for small images or pixels. Significantly reducing or eliminating these requests and asset loads on product pages would significantly improve product page performance.

The WooCommerce Payments gateway does not load any such assets. The Stripe gateway should mimic this.

  19. Show full subscription details on Stripe checkout

I'm selling subscriptions with a 3 day free trial period and using Stripe for payments.
Because the initial billing amount is 0 and the first billing amount is only 3 days later, the very last screen the users see before paying is only with the 0 amount.
I think its quite confusing, I have to back it up with an e-mail explaining how it all works.
Its true they get all the details on their order, but the last screen before checking out is probably the most important one!
It should show the free trial and the upcoming subscription as…

  20. Update Stripe Gateway to be compatible with Stripe's new version of "Checkout".

Woocommerce is currently using the API version 2019-02-19. In order for charges to be eligible for Chargeback protection charges "need to go through new checkout"
