  1. Hooks

    It would be very helpful to have hooks available for extending the functionality of this plugin. Similar to how WooCommerce core has woocommercepaymentcomplete for example, it would be nice to be able to execute code when the status of an RMA request is changed.

    Specifically, we'd like to be able to trigger an external API call once an RMA request is approved. Unfortunately, there are no hooks to leverage with this plugin at the moment.

  2. Warranty Notifications

    I don't see any notifications when a customer makes a warranty request and there doesn't seem to be a Dashboard widget for Warranties that are requested or pending.

  3. Printable label Auto generated with the order ID to include in email to client

    A printable label will be autogenerated with the order ID to better track returns. This will be especially useful if the customer is sending a product back to a manufacturer rather than the distributor. Maybe a template where you add what you want to be included on the label {order_id}

  4. Adding a custom recipient email for notifications instead of just 'Admin'

    It would be better if instead of just 'Admin' you could enter a custom email for warranty/return notifications, for example: orders@, returns@, or RGA@. An Admin could just be a webmaster who isn't in charge of orders or returns, and they'd be having to continuously forward the emails to the correct person.

  5. Please offer a column for product SKU

    It would be very helpful for me at a quick glance if there was a way to see more information in this products column for RMA requests. It would be nice to see the full SKU (either within the product column or its own column) so I can tell exactly what they are wanting to return if they have multiple items but just different variations. Having to click on a product link to see the specific variation that they want to return seems like an extra step when the SKU could just be shown directly on the RMA page somewhere.

  6. Customer view and edit warranties

    The workflow for adding a tracking number to warranties doesn’t really work. A customer fills in a warranty request, then goes to the post office to return it. Only then do they receive a tracking number. There is no way for the customer to update the tracking number.
    If the do it the other way around, send it first and then fill out the request form there is no way the customer can provide us with the warranty request ID so that we know their details.

  7. Make warranty retroactive

    Allow orders placed before the plugin was active to have warranty. For instance, if I offer a 90 warranty, orders place withing the 90 of activating the plugin should have warranty. Even though the orders were placed before the plugin was active, those orders fall under the warranty period and that is not the case right now.

  8. Display "Request Warranty" button for custom statuses

    When creating custom statuses with the plugin "WooCommerce Order Status Manager" and setting it to "Orders with this status have been paid", then it would be great that the "Request Warranty" button appears for orders with this custom status in My Account > Orders.
    Indeed an order can be shipped but still unpaid (so not with Completed status) when clients pay with Payment terms (i.e. 30 days payment terms), hence the need of these custom statuses and the need to offer clients the ability to do RMAs as soon as they receive the products

  10. Multiple Use Warranty

    I would like the option to have a warranty that can be used multiple times during a set time frame. For example: I have a warranty that is effective for 24 months and can be used 3 times in that time frame. This would mean the ability to have multiple warranty requests made during that time frame but no more than is set by the particular warranty.

  12. Customize where return meta details are displayed

    Allow the admin to choose where the the Return details display throughout Woocommerce. Currently, the plugin automatically displays the Return window in the shopping cart list, checkout, order confirmation page, order confirmation email items list. I don't want it to display in any of these locations, but the only way to remove is CSS or editing email templates. There should be checkboxes in the settings to turn them on in different places.

    • When we do an RMA req now we can select the product from an old imported order which is basically a description because they are not matched with current product ID’s
    • Since your plugin cannot match an ID it will cause a critical error. When a product no longer exist in WooCommerce this will cause the same error.
    • There should be a piece of code programmed if product id not exist then use product description. Return product stock should…

  14. Woocommerce Return and Warranty Plugin must have the Product field be required

    Hi, one of our clients are using the Returns and Warranty Request plugin and they wanted to use the warranty page directly for their customers. Can you make the Product Name and order number to be required fields? Sometimes the customer do not enter them and it's hard for the admin to manage it.
