  1. 'Show password' button in sign up form

Woocommerce doesn't have "Password confirm" button in sign up form, so I think for best user expierence should be add "Show password" button near Password field.

  3. Automatically add product categories to Wordpress Menu

Currently manually adding categories to existing departments is an issue as may forget to add when new items get imported.

Causing missing categories at the top menu.

Would be good to be able to configure and set the way categories will be added to the departments.

Some prefer the menu to have all the Departments across and some like my self, prefer a Shop By Department (Vertical hierachy) , where Categories are under each Department.

  4. Native WOO Browser based Point Of Sale (POS)

I am increasingly losing clients to Shopify because of one primary feature that is core to Shopify but not to Woo. That is a native, simple Point of Sale (POS) feature that allows businesses to take orders via brick & mortar stores while maintaining stock levels with the centralized WOO stock control system.

I know there are several other requests for a Woo POS, but these are requests as an add-on to WOO. I feel this should be a core feature of WOO (with the ability to be abled or disable).

It should operate in the same way as Shopify's…

  5. Extend 'woocommerce_add_to_cart_quantity' filter (WC_Cart class)

The idea is to add a third argument to the filter in the subject. It makes it possible for even deeper customizations. I think it is a rather small improvement, but, be honest, it is a critical one for my extension. It will allow me to implement new features.

So, instead of this (this is how it is now):

    $quantity = applyfilters( 'woocommerceaddtocartquantity', $quantity, $productid );

    make it like that:

    $quantity = applyfilters( 'woocommerceaddtocartquantity', $quantity, $productid, $cartitemdata );

Again, what I am asking for is just include $cartitemdata variable into the filter. That's all. :)

  7. Flag Orders

When viewing my order list, I would like the option to put a flag beside an order for whatever reason. Just like flagging an email. If there was an option to choose different colours of flags to distinguish your own reason for flagging at a glance, that would be even better. A basic flag though would be a big help.

  8. Add "all" option to visibility attribute for products shortcode

[products] shortcode has the option to choose the visibility of the products. But if someone wants to show visible AND hidden products there is no option yet. You can theoretically call the shortcode twice, one time with visible and one time with hidden products, but this may lead to design problems (for example with pagination enabled).

An visbility option like "all" would fit the needs to show products of all visbilities with one shortcode.

This can be needed for example when you want to hide some products from shop and other pages but you want to show it on one…

  12. Product image not required

Right now, we have to add code to the function.php file to hide product images. Why not make it the default behavior that if there is an image uploaded, show the image. If not, show no image and slide the title, description, etc. over to the left where the image would be. That would be so much better than the image slug.

  13. Attribute "global" stock

The abbility to set a stock level for an attribute, an exmaple:
An size attribute for tshirts; it would be a lot easier to control stock for all products that use that attribute than to set stock levels on every product :)

  14. Use Yoast SEO Primary Category for Breadcrumbs

Yoast SEO provides the ability to set a "Primary Category" when selecting categories for a product. Obviously a product can be in more than one category, but when a Primary Category is set should be reflected in the Breadcrumb trail.

  15. Extension for sending images to a print shop

Wouldn't it be great if Woocommerce could take your images and send them to a 'print-on-demand' service of choice afterwards ? (like printing images on mugs or canvas, etc.)
Thus taking out the pain of going to a print shop and send the images worldwide yourself.

  17. Change category layout so no more uneven rows, move sort by up and add pagnentation to category shortcoden

The category set up just isn't ideal if you want a separate category page or you want to show subcategories as if you have say 2 sub categories then the products just run on the same line and then you have a line with just 2 products at the bottom. Also visitors have to scroll to the bottom to sort items by price etc.

What I propose is the following layout

Separate category images from product images in top rows, then a row that adds the sorting drop down or even buttons across the bar, then the products.

    This alongside…

  18. Currency symbols must be customizable

It's not so much an idea as it is a mandatory requirement for Woocommerce, if you want to sell in Scandinavia ;-)

The standard currency symbols (ISO) for SEK, DKK and NOK are usually and informally presented as "kr", but to get approval by local payment card clearing to accept local cards, you must display the ISO currency symbol on at least the checkout page order summary.

Therefore I would recommend that you make it customizable in woocomerce themes to choose currency symbols for different areas of the theme.

  19. Include shipping cost in net sales report

Many (most?) vendors charge more for shipping than the actual shipping cost. Shipping thereby becomes a product among many, with a "production cost" (the actual shipping fee) and a retail price. Or in plain English: We make money from shipping! I therefore think that shipping sales should be included in net sales in the reporting function, or at least offer that as an option. Only taxes should be excluded from net sales.

  20. Make manually created categories a draft first

Currently when manually creating a new category, the category is published after selecting save.

It would be better if the category was saved as a draft rather than published immediately as in this case, the category appears on the shop page and is also indexable by search engines even though this may not be wanted.

When creating a new category for editing by other store administrators I have to set indexing options to no index and do not include in the sitemap until the category is updated fully and ready.
