  1. Make switching different variations and shipping methods easier

    Current situation

    1. A person wants to change the shipping method (let's say from tracked to untracked) or the variation of a variable subscription (let's say from Coffee Pack 1 to Coffee Pack 2)
    2. He clicks on the upgrade/downgrade button
    3. He picks the same product variation (to change the shipping method) or a new variation he'd like to change it to
    4. Goes through checkout

This is not terribly intuitive and takes many steps while the idea of Subscriptions is to have things simplified.

So the suggestion is to simplify this. Why not have the same variable options…

  2. Add grey text "Add coupon code" to blank space on Cart page

My clients are getting confused about where to enter the coupon code at times. I suggest adding grey text "Add coupon code here" or just "coupon code" to the white field to the left of the "Apply Coupon" button on the cart page, so it is consistent with the coupon code field on the checkout page. I am losing some customers as they don't go on to the Checkout page without being certain the code can be applied.

Assuming your browser supports placeholder text (almost all do now) you should see “Coupon Code” in the field.

  3. Easy way to provide free sample downloads on product page

For many kinds of products a free sample download is useful (software, plugins, themes, books, etc.)
Right now there is no easy way to include this into a product page.

Would be good to have an additional option "product has free sample download", a way to upload the file directly in the product admin, a text field for the sample download teaser text, a nice button with customizable text, - voila.

Increases sales like nuts for a lot of products!

  4. Redirect purchase at item level to another site

Sometimes you have items that you want in your store, but you can't (or don't) resell them. If that button can take the customer to the third-party site's page of your product.

For example: Kindle files, iTune files, mobile apps, etc. need to be purchased on another company's site, but if you are the producer of said book, music files, mobile app, you want it included seamlessly in your own shop.

This would also be good for affiliate links.

  5. Lead Capture Widget/Plugin - Which integrates with iContact, MailChimp, Awebber, GetResponse etc, etc

I would like to have a plugin / widget area that can be used for lead capture purposes. Collecting a visitors email or email and name.

Allow us (user) to choose or upload a custom submit/sign up button.

The plugin should also integrate with all the major email auto-responder providers such as:

    iContact
    Awebber
    MailChimp
    GetResponse
    InfusionSoft
    Constant Contact
    Etc, etc.

Also, being able to add a custom text title and/or a custom title image would be great

  6. Make It Quicker to Change Dates in Subscriptions 2.0

In Subscriptions 1.5, it was quick & easy to edit the renewal dates for multiple orders by clicking the 'Change' button in the 'Next Payment' column.

This quick-edit option is no longer present in Subscriptions 2.0, so we need to open up each Subscription as a new tab/page to adjust subscription dates. This new workflow takes considerably longer to adjust multiple dates quickly.

I'd also be uber agreeable to any other method to more quickly edit multiple dates.

  7. Fortnightly Availability

We have a client who runs a course every two weeks with two different timeslots. Currently, it looks like we have to enter these date and time ranges manually (that's 52 entries per year for 1 course alone).

Having a function where availability can be set to only start (for example) every second Monday would be amazing. Automation is the future.

Also while you're in there, having a duplicate button for ranges would also make things a lot quicker and easier.

  8. Easier way to disable Email notifications

Currently, it takes 4-5 steps (clicks) to deactivate an email notification.

Would it be possible to make the disable action take place on the main Email notifications page?

This would be similar to the WP core action for Trashing Posts or Updating Plugins.

The Email notifications page currently has green checkmarks or grey x's which look just like buttons and the expected user reaction is to click on the to disable the email notification.

It seems clunky the way it currently works.

  9. Make it easy to test e-mails

Currently it takes a large amount of effort to test any changes done to e-mail templates. Making it easier to test the different e-mail situations with dummydata (just a button in the e-mail settings page), would make it a lot easier to handle all the digging in html & php.

It would make it a quick way to help developers without you having to make a full blown WYSIWYG editor for e-mails and e-mail designs. (not that that wouldn't be nice also :)

  10. Login as Customer

It would be very helpful if admins / shop managers had the ability to log into a customers my-account page.

We have a lot of failed renewal orders and customers always call us to give us the updated credit card info. They never log into their account and do it themselves.

Would be handy if there was a button next to each parent subscription account that would allow us to into the customers my-account page and updates / make any edits or changes.

    What do you think?

  11. Add PDF download for physical products (for samples, detail sheets, etc.)

It'd be great to have the option to upload a pdf to the physical products. This pdf could be a sample, a more detailed brochure, a detail sheet, etc.

This could be a field at the backend and a nice button at the frontend.

In our case, for example, we sell books and giving free samples or chapters we can increase our sales.

Of course, we can now upload a sample through the media uploader and place a link into the description of the product. But that's not as clean.

  12. checkout but not selling (yet)

woocommerce is a great addon for several wordpress sites.

Is there a possibility that clients can select multiple products/services, put them in a 'cart' and goto checkout but..

The client doesn't have to pay yet as the checkout button will send me the client's wishlist by email (read ask quote) so i can optimise/plan it taking into account his needs and whishes.

Meaning no payment processor is needed but the client should be able to shop like anyone else, the checkout is just sending me an email.

  13. Repeat Order: Need a re-order link in email

    Hello,

I hope there's a re-order link in the woocommerce processing/complete email. Currently user need login to his/her account > view order and click a re-order button.
I think it's not user friendly and some user do not want to create an account. Most easy way is put a repeat order link in the email.
In addition, sometimes user forgot our site url and they usually check the site detail from email, so why not just put a re-order link in the email?

    Thank you~

  14. WooCommerce Extension: Customize Emails

It's currently WAY too difficult to customize WooCommerce system emails. You should produce an extension that allows people more design flexibility and to customize the text easily. This is more than just a convenience- it's a branding and customer relations necessity.

I used a plugin called WP eStore before WooCommerce and they made it very easy to customize the various email text, complete with shortcodes you could use for order specific information (http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-shortcodes-and-functions-reference-460). Something like this would be very popular and make life a lot easier for people who need that kind of control.

  15. Product variations on category/product list page with add-to-cart

    Hello,
I have setup a restaurant menu (online food ordering) site on with wordpress+woocommerce+grid/list plugin. This is a restaurant site for many food items with half and full plate with different price. I have created product variations in admin half/full for such food items with their prices respectively. But these products are showing 'select options' button on category pages which take it to product detail page. I want to display product variation dropdown on category/product-list page itself so that customer can select and add the food half/full plate to cart without going to product detail page. The selected variation can…

  17. Product add-ons extension feature request - update price on product page

Some of my product add-ons have a price associated with them. After clicking add-ons and viewing cart, the total of item plus add-ons is correct, however, the price on the product page doesn't change when an add-on adding a price is clicked. It changes for the different variations, so you can see how much the item is you are adding to the cart. I think it should also update the price including the add-ons, so when you press the add to cart button, the price you see there is the same price you see in the cart.

  18. WooCommerce Subscriptions to work with Gravity Forms Add-ons

Would like for WooCommerce Subscriptions work seamlessly with Gravity Forms Add-ons. For example, a buyer fills out a multi page registration/order form created with Gravity Forms Add-ons. At the end of the form on the second page of the form, there is a Buy Now button. After clicking Buy Now, the PayPal Subscription takes over. Want the fields from the Gravity Forms to be mapped onto the Subscription form for PayPal so buyers do not have to re-enter their information.

Gravity Forms has a way to create feeds and map fields to PayPal in the setup process.

  19. Updating Compare Products Pro to include a share option such as email

Love the fact that shoppers can compare our products and have an easy call to action button right there to entice them make their decision.

There are quite a few occasions where the buyer may wish to share their comparisons with friends, family, professionals to get their opinion or simple just 'be informed' when making a decision.

Apart from printing off their comparisons, emailing adds another dimension to the share options especially when it comes to those who are not so tech savvy such as the older generation who could save the print option as a PDF and email it…

  20. WC Subscriptions - Stripe Invoices

    Hello,

We use Stripe to send a lot of Invoices. Unfortunately if you create an Invoice, it will add it to be billed later. The problem with this is with WC Subscription and Stripe, the open invoices never get charged out. The only way to do this is to hit the Invoice Now button.

Is it possible to make the Stripe Plugin charge any outstanding invoices on the customers account when the monthly fee goes through? This is how it works if you use the Stripe interface itself but not when using WC Subscriptions with Stripe.
