Carousel slideshow type
It would be great if there was a carousel slideshow type in the default options. Like this: http://sorgalla.com/projects/jcarousel/examples/static_simple.html
86 votesWe’re looking into this now when planning out the next few versions of WooSlider. While it may not be included in version 1.1.0, we’re hoping to prioritise this as soon as possible.

Show caption and title of an image in the slideshow
It would be great if the caption and/or the title of an image can displayed in a layer over/under the picture in the slide show
79 votesWe will be exploring this in a future WooSlider update, on the “attached images” slideshow type.

Order Attachment Slides by Menu Order
I mostly use the Attachment slideshow functionality from WooSlider to automatically grab the images attached to a page and create a slideshow. It would be nice if the default Wordpress drag-and-drop reordering could be used to change the order of the slides. I temporarily added this functionality by editing the query in class-wooslider-sliders.php to include the "orderby" => "menu_order" parameter.

Enable the content layout options for Slide and Gallery slides
It would be great if you could have the 'slide' content positioned on the left, right, bottom of the slider (like the post slides do). Instead of having to hard code the layout into the WYIWYG editor
45 votesWe are exploring adding similar functionality to optionally display the captions of images in the “attached images” slideshow type.
Regarding the “slides” slideshow type, this isn’t the slideshow type’s intention. The intention of the “slides” slideshow type is for the WYSIWYG editor to be a blank canvas, if you will, for each of the slides. The “Featured Image”, in this case, is used purely for the “thumbnails” pagination, at this stage.
We are exploring other avenues for where this image can be put to use as well. :)

Drag and drop ordering of the slides.
When viewing the list of all the slides. Being able to just drag and drop the order would make it much easier to know what slides appear when

WooSlider - Vertical thumbnails
It would be useful to have the possibility to have the thumbnails verticcaly displayed to one side of the slideshow, instead of just below the slideshow.

Featured carousel
I'd like to display five or six thumbnail-sized images across the page, all at once. People could click on one and it would send them to that post.
I am using Canvas, WooSlider, WooCommerce, Groups, Groups WooCommerce.
I've dug through quite a few of the offerings from other entities. I have not yet found anything within shooting distance of the high quality that is typical of the work by WooThemes.

Any chance for Parallax?
I think it would be great if Flexslider had a parallax effect. :)

Scheduling - Start and Stop displaying slides
The ability to save a slide and have it start at a certain time and to display for only a certain period.

Amount of items in a carousel
It would be great to have control over the minimum and maximum amount of items in the backend settings, by shortcode or template tags, to create more individual carousels. Actually there are only three items shown in a carousel and stretched automatically to fill the slide's with.

Replaced the "featured Slider" of existing themes
Can someone provide instructions to replace the featured slider in say, the woostore theme with this slider? The existing slider on the homepage is very slow to load even after smashing the image file size and this slider looks much nicer.
If you had easy instructions I would buy it to replace the existing slider.
Or can woothemes update the theme to have this slider :)

WooSlider Vertical Thumbnail Nav
Adding vertical thumbnail navigation to WooSlider would add a new dimension to layout possibilities. Located to the left or right of the slides, show title on hover. See screenshot at: http://bit.ly/133wpW5
Although a plugin can do this with some hacks (above screen is Canvas), eliminate third-party conflicts by including it in WooSlider! This would save time in trying to fix conflicts, minimise multiple scripts running, and helps differentiate WooSlider to theme built-in sliders.

WooSlider : use post thumbnail instead of post image
to have better control on image size. eg for home page slider
14 votesThanks for clarifying. :)
We are exploring options for how best to use the “Featured Image” in the “slides” slideshow type, other than in the “thumbnails” pagination.

Video is 100 times more informative than images with text.
WooSlider has no options for selecting a video player, its' skins, resolution or size, etc..
WooSlider needs many more options for presenting video in an attractive fashion.

Woo Slider - Duplicate Slide
It would be great to have a feature to duplicate slides, that way I can build one template and duplicate it several times, and then I can go and edit what I need to

In WooSlider version 2.1.0, the slideshow ID option is missing from the slider widgets. Can that be added in a future update?
From the widget description: "Each widget contains the same settings as the shortcode generation section of the “Add Media” popup." But the ID option isn't there. Using a slider ID is what you recommend to control the width and height here: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/wooslider-image-width/ I'd like to have the ID option in the widgets' shortcode generation section.

Woo Slider - Make the Post Image a link to the post
A parameter for the plugin that gives the option to make the Post Image a link to the post like you can currently for the Post title when making a "Post Slideshow".

Enable multiple categories to be used in an AND configuration
Right now if you select two categories, it will pull from both.
It would be nice to have this as an "AND" option -- perhaps
Cat 1, Cat 2 == get posts from EITHER / BOTH categories but
Cat 1 & Cat == only posts in BOTH categories.
USE:
Cat 1 = Featured
Cat 2 == Foo
Page shows a bunch of posts from cat == Foo
Slider just shows the Foo posts that are Featured.
Page 2 has Cat 3 == Bar -- shows posts in Cat == Bar
WooSlider shows from Featured & Bar -- now just the…
