I purchased Sensei and I have to say that it is an amazing plugin. While going through the various processes I have encountered a little bit of a hiccup. The courses are handled as posts as far as chronological order. I would like a way to sort them without having to go through and edit the published time to reflect the alphabetical order I desire.
Is there a way that I am overlooking to accomplish this?
This is now handled by a drag&drop interface from Sensei v1.6 – http://docs.woothemes.com/document/ordering-courses-lessons/

I’m pleased to report that Sensei LMS import functionality was released in version 3.3 – https://senseilms.com/2020/07/23/sensei-lms-3-3-import-courses-lessons-questions/. While it doesn’t explicitly support Moodle, their data can be massaged into a format that works with our importer.
Please leave your comments on the post if there are any improvements you’d like to see made to the importer.

For the types of classes I will be developing, a central area for discussion and support is helpful... and in fact may assist some with true success by having like-minded individuals for community support. (My niche is wellness, for those interested in weight-loss this is EXTREMELY important for sustained long-term success.)12 votes
Discussion groups can be created using the free BuddyPress for Sensei extension: http://www.woothemes.com/products/buddypress-for-sensei
Right now there is no way to categorize Courses. This will create a lot of confusion once there are courses in multiple subjects.
It will be great if we can have categories, Sub Categories structure with Courses just like that of default Wordpress.139 votes
The ability to attach lesson or course files to each respectively through the lesson / course dashboard.66 votes
This can be done using WordPress core to upload the file, and linking to the file in the content editor.
By integrating with Buddypress, courses could have their own group for those on the course, and that could include a forum and discussion, as well as everything else linked with a group.
It would also be good to have a tab in the user's front-end admin which would list their courses and any information pertaining to those courses.
There are many things that could be done by integrating with Buddypress...331 votes

I'd like to 'lock' courses for use by certain users - I could do this easily through the purchase system and have an 'unlock code' for the people I want to enter that class.8 votes
This can be handled using WooCommerce integration and a 100% coupon code for the product that is linked to your desired course.
