There is no way to change author once the lesson is published. If admin sets up the lessons and want a teacher to be able to change only his OWN lessons there is no way of handling it, We use a plugin called Adminimize to set rights. Normall wordpress pages or posta has a field where author can be changed,13 votes
Course and lesson authors can now be changed in the same way as posts.
Problem: a course's page shows only the name of the course and the excerpt field before the visitor signs up, or buy the course.
Solution:a better course page template, with at least one html/text field to be displayed when the visitor is not logged, so we can display more info (course requirements, time to complete, etc) before it buys12 votes
From v1.6, you have the option to display the full course content on the course page, rather than displaying an excerpt only – http://www.woothemes.com/2014/06/take-learning-next-level-sensei-1-6/
For the types of classes I will be developing, a central area for discussion and support is helpful... and in fact may assist some with true success by having like-minded individuals for community support. (My niche is wellness, for those interested in weight-loss this is EXTREMELY important for sustained long-term success.)12 votes
Discussion groups can be created using the free BuddyPress for Sensei extension: http://www.woothemes.com/products/buddypress-for-sensei
hi it would be nice if the Sensei plugin would have an option to post pictures to the questions. after all a pictures is a 1000 words ;)12 votes
You can add media to any question since v1.5 – http://docs.woothemes.com/document/question-bank/#section-4
Right now, there is an option to display BOTH courses and lessons on the main menu, but you can't choose to just display courses. I tried to do it manually, but that negatively affected other functions. I'd like separate options for sending courses and lessons to the main menu. Thanks for your consideration.11 votes
All Sensei pages can be added as custom menu items via Appearance > Menus in Sensei 1.6 – http://www.woothemes.com/2014/06/take-learning-next-level-sensei-1-6/
Can Sensei be integrated with the WooCommerce Subscriptions and Groups modules?
It would be great to be able to sell annual subscription memberships to the lessons/courses.
Is anyone doing this?
Attach a WooCommerce Subscriptions product to a course and that should work just fine. :)
I'd very much like an email notification when there's a new quiz to grade. Preferably, I'd like to set which course alerts which "grader".

Email notifications are available from Sensei v1.6 – http://www.woothemes.com/2014/06/take-learning-next-level-sensei-1-6/
A document area for the courses, where they can just upload the document and people can view it in a preview and then download.11 votes
This is available now with our Sensei Media Attachments extension – http://www.woothemes.com/products/sensei-media-attachments/
It would be really nice if in Sensei we had the ability in the settings to tell the learner management system to display the names of all learners via first & last name. Right now it's by nickname which is assigned when they create an account. It's hard to easily look and see who is in the course, etc.10 votes
able to write mathematics quizzes, questions and answers. Latex integrated into courses, lessons, quizzes10 votes
This is now available in v1.7 – Please read the following important information before updating, and be sure to test the update on a staging environment first – http://develop.woothemes.com/sensei/2015/02/02/sensei-1-7-0-now-available-dont-update-before-reading-this/
Instructions for this feature can be found here – http://docs.woothemes.com/document/using-mathematics-in-sensei-quizzes/
Subject says all .. but for those who want specifics:
1. user clicks on "complete lesson" button
2. sends user to next lesson
3. possible addition of feedback mechanism: maybe a completion success modal that indicates that the previous lesson was completed hides after a few seconds)10 votes
In v1.9 we added a “Next lesson” button to the success message, which now appears at the top of the page.
We now have a free certificates extension for Sensei – http://www.woothemes.com/products/sensei-certificates
The grading feedback feature is great... except that each question has to have feedback manually entered by the grader. It would be an excellent addition if feedback could be automatically given for incorrect answers in auto graded quizzes.10 votes

On the my profile page, include a complete overview of the quizzes which the student is signed up to take and the quizzes which the student has taken. For the quizzes which the student has taken show what their % correct was. Maybe even show the courses completed and all the quizzes under those courses which the user has taken and what their % correct was.8 votes
For manually graded quizzes requiring a single or multiple line answer, it would be good to give the students the ability to change any answers marked as incorrect so they can re-submit their answers. Currently, I believe the only way to do this is to reset the quiz but this means the student needs to re-answer all questions (including those they got right the first time).9 votes
The “reset quiz” button takes care of this.
Thanks and regards,
As the content volume increases the ability to sort and/or filter in the admin area is noticeably missing. Please add!9 votes
Completed in v1.5 – http://www.woothemes.com/2014/03/sensei-1-5/
Courses, these days, typically have a finer grain to them than just course and lessons. Rather, a course consists of topics that in turn might have a number of (short) lessons associated with each topic.9 votes
We’ve published an article in our knowledgebase, detailing how this can be done using the existing Sensei functionality. :)
Please see the following case studies:

I'd like to 'lock' courses for use by certain users - I could do this easily through the purchase system and have an 'unlock code' for the people I want to enter that class.8 votes
This can be handled using WooCommerce integration and a 100% coupon code for the product that is linked to your desired course.
Allow tracking of revisions for lessons, much like pages. This way, an individual can undo saved changes and/or compare different versions of a lesson.7 votes
Revision history is available for courses, lessons and quizzes as of Sensei version 1.10.0.
