BBPress Integration for each course and/or for the whole site, in some sort of dashboard. Every student needs a way of asking questions right?

You can embed any bbPress Forum or Topic into a post, page, course, lesson or anything else using a shortcode. It even allows you to reply, etc right from the post. In the upcoming version of bbPress you can set it to replace your entire default WP comments. Until then there is a plugin you can use.

I believe there are 3 possible ways for interaction within a course: student-teacher; teacher-students; student-student.
A simple forum with private message capabilitiess would do the job, hence integrating Sensei to BBPress, at least at a course level (a topic per course), would be great!
Ideally, it would be possible for students to send their doubts to the teacher or share thoughts with their colleagues.
Please, consider merging this suggestion to "Add functionality so Students can privately interact with teachers".

Gareth, would you be as kind as explaining how you achieved the 'message board' solution using Wishlist Member and BBPress?
I'm very interested in creating a 'Q&A Forum' within my classes. The problem I'm having is that users buy a course, not a membership plan. So, I need to enable the forum only to those who have bought the course.My desired solution:
An integration with a forum solution that will enable the teacher to add a forum to his courses, segmenting topics per lessons.
The students with access to the course/lesson would be able to submit doubts publicly or privately, and the teacher (or another responsible for answering the questions, would be noticed if there is any question pending).
Ideally the teacher would be able to specify how many doubts each student may post and the student would be noticed of the answers published. -

Within the Wishlist Member world, I accomplished this by protecting a BBpress forum linked to each member level (which is a course in my world).
Probably can do similar with Sensei - or custom create a forum index that lists forums by course subscription.

I thought there is already a comments section as its using the commenting system of a blog post? How about a separate forum plugin to handle things like that?

Here's an idea: a message board that acts like a community quiz. A question is posted at the top of the board, and users can answer their opinion from multiple choice answers. Other students can see what their colleagues have selected as their answers.

Again, as long as the security of the board is solidly linked with the security of the course, that is, only students that are participating in that course can have access to the board.
Having taught online classes for 10 years, (and still looking for the ultimate teaching tool) I'm sort of against online boards, because they can foster a lot of chat and irrelevant discussion, and then require moderation. If the teacher has a strong hand and moderates the gossip quickly, then it can be used, but it's always a risk...
