On Wordle, this is Your Brain.
Five letters, six attempts to guess a word. Wordle, a new puzzle game on the internet, is based on this simple idea. NPR reports that the creator of Wordle estimates that more than 2.5 million people have played this word game. Every day, the word changes and remains the same for all who play. Each letter correctly guessed brings the player closer to solving the puzzle. It's easy and free, and many players find it addictive.
Why is this simple game so captivating? How does it compare with viral games like Words with Friends or Pokemon Go?
Ira is joined in conversation by Dr. Matthew Baldwin (assistant professor in social psychology, University of Florida Gainesville, Florida) to discover why Wordle both delights the brain as well as brings us closer to our peers.

The word changes every day, but it remains the same for everyone who takes part in the activity. As the player correctly identifies each letter of the alphabet, the player moves closer to completing the puzzle: https://driving-directions.co.
