We had a summer student link our Woo Subsciptions to SF Orders using the REST APIs.
Would be great to remove that custom plugin altogether if there was a simple way.
We use the Subscription Order # (Previously Parent Order prior to v2.0) to map to the Salesforce Order and map payment option, subscription creation date->order date, first payment date->start date and monthly fee to the amount. Multiple subscriptions = Multiple order rows linked to the SF account.

This is basically implemented now with "Pending Cancellation"

In our case, with service subscriptions, this would be very useful when people announce they are moving out of the service area. Rather then track the event to cancel a subscription in another ERP tool, in order to stop it in the appropriate period, this could be done when the request is made if there was an ability to set an 'end date'.

The other end of this is to accept the email of a an existing subscriber as the referrer when just signing up normally; Then it supports the word of mouth referral which is easier to execute.
